Find your 12th house and placement of the 12th lord. Count from the 12th house to its lord in a zodiacal manner. Whatever be the no. arrived, count that many houses from the 12th lord in a zodiacal manner. You will arrive at the Upapada. If the Upapada comes to 12th or the 6th (7th from 12th), then count 10 signs from the UL again to arrive at the final UL. This will happen when the lord is placed in the kendras to the 12th. Once you have found out the UL, find the lord of the sign where UL is placed. Have vrata on that Vara (weekday), which is ruled by the UL lord. Have Patience to find it out yourself, otherwise the learning value through this group would be nil.
