The file GrahRashiDasha.zip has a file GrahRashiDasha.xls.

You will find GrahRashiDasha.xls as an improved grahDasha.xls sheet.

 

It has added features as given below:

 

(1) You can directly open and save data in .jhd file formats by

browsing and

clicking as in JHL.So no need to type path.However it may not work if

you do

not have microsoft common dialog control version 6.0.

(2) Calculations for ishtkal(based on upper limb of Sun),hora and

ghati Lagn

are added.Now you can change lagn and also view any varg-chart in

North Indian

format.

(3) Ashtakvarg for any choosen varg with Prastar ashtakvarg and

shodas-varg

sheets are added.You can view all at a glance with varg-

classification.You

can even see saumy\Krur and malefic\benefic based on D-60 for all

bhav from

9 Grahas and 3 Lagnas.

(4) Narayan Dasha can be calculated for any varg upto Deh level but

strong

rashi/grah will be needed.It will automatically use correct

lord,exception

etc.You can override starting dasha as well.

(5) Sudasha can be calculated for any varg with same Shree-Lagn.

(6) You can also see several Rasi dashas like Drig,Trikon,Paryay,

Lagn-Kendradi,Niryan-Shool and Shool Dasha in all vargas.

 

Important:Ketu is always opposite to Rahu in all vargas.This is

different

from other softwares where D16,D20,D24,D30,D40,D45 AND D2 have them

togather.

 

When Ketu is placed opposite to Rahu in Rashi without calculations

and it

always follow different procedure for Dasha,Argala etc why it is given

same treatment in varg computation?This may be a point for disput.

When God Himself has separated Rahu and Ketu how can they join?

If they can join by any chance Shukrachary will use his Mritsanjivani

Mantr

and Ketu will vanish in Rahu forever.Therefore showing Rahu with Ketu

is

against the God's desire.

 

If you do not agree just avoid above vargas.

 

Most of the additions in this sheet are adopted from Visti's sheets.

It just has a few bug-fixing and improvements.

in same .jhd files without any difficulty in opening in

Jagannath Hora Lite.

(3) You can view Vinshottary Dasha,Rashi-Bhukt-Vinshottary Dasha,

Kakshya-Details in Rashi-Bhukta-Dasha,Tribhagi Dasha and

Longitudes of Progressed Moon at start and end of Dasha.

(4) You also have the option to change number of days and starting

longitude for Dasha.

(5) You can even compress the dasha to any desired length.

This will help you to find Varsh Vinshottary Dasha or any such

thing like 5 year Dasha, monthly dasha etc. etc.

(6) You can also view SHREE LAGN and all features of Grah.xls.

 

Please note that dasha-length * compression =120

Some typical values for compression are given below.

 

compression=1 Vinshottary dasha

compression=3 Tribhagi dasha

compression=120 Varsh Vinshottary dasha

 

Important:Dasha dates are approximate(EXACT FOR GIVEN YEAR LENGTH)

and may be off by upto 5 days (based on Sun's longitude).

Please ALWAYS check Sun's longitude for exact date and time.

Sun's longitude for dasha is not given in this sheet.

swedll32.dll file

in same directory or in path(like windows or system directory)

besides MSExcel 5+ If YOU HAVE JHL41 THEN JUST COPY IT TO SAME

DIRECTORY.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD swedll32.dll AGAIN.YOU ALREADY HAVE IT WITH YOU.

 

IT WILL NOT TAKE DATES BEFORE 1-1-1900(unless you modify it).

 

It takes birth data and shows all 9 Grahas and lagn. All calculations

are

correct upto seconds. Moon may be off by less then 5 seconds(as in

JHL).

 

You can view your chart in North-Indian style.

It gives grah and bhav tithis for all planets. You can now find

santan and

other tithis directly. Santan and other grahas can also be viewed

without

calculations.

 

It also has an independent module (sheet) for ephemeris and

Panchag calculations.It is probably not included in JHora. You can

set time

interval from a second to years as you please. But do not forget to

convert it in days. Fractions(=365.25636) and expressions (=1/24 for

hourly

interval) are allowed.

 

Transits prediction by Ashtakvarg requires Knowledge

of Kakshya. You can directly view kakshya of each planet in ephemeris.

 

You can add your own calculations as there is no hidden code.

This is a freeware and open source/free code program.
