Guest guest
hello members, i have read in a lot of articles that the 12th house is a dusthana - a malefic house, which deals with solitude, confinement etc. so what would be the effect of having many planets in the 12th house. I have Sun, Mercury and Saturn in the 12th house (Leo ascendant). What are the results of such a combination. Regards, Mahesh Sports - Coverage of the 2002 Olympic Games http://sports. Guest guest
Dear Mahesh, I have Sun, Jupiter and Mars in the 12th, Moon and Rahu in the 8th. Asc Gemini. Sun in the 12th and 9th lord Rahu in the 8th have produced an estrangement from the father. Jupiter in the 12th as 10th ruler meant most of my career was spent overseas. As 7th ruler, it meant that I went overseas as soon as I married, that I later divorced and am now married to a foreigner. (This was predicted by a Sri Lankan astrologer when I was about 19, BTW). Mars in the 12th and Sun as 3rd ruler in the 12th - I tend to be separated from my siblings. Also not very enterprising. Mars as 6th ruler in the 12th - success after difficulties - perhaps. Mars as 11th ruler in the 12th - all income spent, usually on repaying loans. The exchange between 11th and 12th ruler probably prevents debts becoming a problem area. But I think I am a record loan repayer as I hate being in debt. This, by the way, is not considered the optimal financial strategy as inflation tends to diminish the value of debt and high gearing is often used to leverage investment returns. Moon in the 8th as 2nd ruler - perhaps an aversion to financial risk taking. But the aspect of Jupiter on moon and aspect of moon on own house has perhaps avoided any major problems in this area. I know a number of people with many planets in the 12th. Most of them are not doing too badly. But often life seems to revolve around foreign countries. One friend who went back to her place of birth is actually having serious problems there. I have suggested that she move away. She came to visit me this month and was offered a job on the spot for an interview I had suggested. But was having problems getting work where she lives and was born. However, she has family ties there and is going to try and make it there. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Dear Nimmi, Thanks very much for your insight. I am a Leo ascendant and the three planets Sun Saturn and Mercury are lords of 1st,2nd,6th,7th, and 11th houses. I have Venus in Lagna, Rahu in 4th, Jupiter in 9th, Mars and Ketu in 10th and Moon in 11th. There is an exchange of 11th and 12th lords - l ord of expenses in income and vice versa. I am running my Sa-Me dasha and I have been in the US since Jan 2001. So i guess your observation of foreign connection is true. Thanks again for your time. Guest guest
Dear sir, I ask the learned members to correct me if I am wrong. >From the rasi chart, you have Guru in your 9th from where it aspects your lagna which has Venus. Your 7th is aspected by Venus, but your 7th is a house of Saturn. So Sa may be able to cause a slight delay in marriage but it should be a good one when it happens. At the same time your natal Sa is in Karka and in Punarvasu, which is owned by Ju which should reduce Sa bad effects a bit. I also think that if you are to go abroad it would be influenced by Budha meaning it will likely be for an intelligence or knowledge reason (education, technical job). Learned members could provide more light on this.
