Birth particulars DOB: Jan 7th, 1979 TOB: 7:10AM POB: Hyderabad, India Lagna is sagittarius with jupiter exalted and retrograde in cancer. Lagna occupied by atmakaraka mars and amatyakaraka sun and gnatikaraka mercury. Moon is in 5th house, sani® and rahu in 9th, venus in 12th. I am currently running ravi mahadasa. Sun being 9th lord is a benefic but in the nakshtra of venus(bad for health). In any case this period is supposed to be beneficial to me but the situation is quite different. I am currently surrounded by many problems from financial troubles to delay of marriage. Education is moving slowly. I should be doing my masters now but instead circumstances caused delay of graduation. My brother who pays for my education lost his job recently. There is no peace of mind. I recite rama raksha stotram, aditya hrudayam and sri Gurucharitra everyday. But, still I don't see any change? Why is this happening? Any remedies? Please consider this an emergency and do reply. Vimsottari dasa started from lagna will explain events better than Vimsottari dasa started from Moon. As per Lagna Vimsottari dasa, you are towards the end of Mars dasa. Remember Sanjay's teaching that AK's dasa always punishes the native! AK's dasa gets one in all sorts of troubles and frustrating situations. This dictum can be observed to be correct if you use the right variation of Vimsottari dasa based on the strongest initiator (Moon's nakshatra, 5th nakshatra from Moon or lagna's nakshatra). To get relief from the troubles being given by AK, pray to the strongest influence on the 12th from AK in navamsa. Your Mars is in Sc in navamsa. Libra has retrograde Jupiter, debilitated Sun and exalted Saturn. The strongest influence is Saturn. Pray to Vishnu. Read Vishnu Sahasram. As per Narayana dasa also, you are running Ar dasa containing the 8th lord. Within Ar dasa, Le antardasa is the worst because Le contains only 23 rekhas in SAV (with Ar taken as lagna) and Le contains the two badhaka lords from Ar (Saturn and Rahu are the lords of 11th from movable sign Ar). Le antardasa during the last several months was arguably the worst antardasa in Ar dasa. Overall, Ar dasa (1995-2003) is not so great, but Pi dasa (2003-2012) will be better. Recently, we did satyanarayana vratam to alleviate any bad influences on our family, but still the situation is not improving. What you said is true, since 1993 there had been lot of bad experiences. Though some people always start Vimsottari dasa from Moon, this is based on incomplete knowledge. In your case, Lagna Vimsottari dasa will clearly work better. Your troubles have so many reasons. Apart from AK's Lagna-Vimsottari dasa and Narayana dasa containing 8th lord, you are towards the end of 7.5 years of Saturn (Saturn's transit in 12th, 1st and 2nd from natal Moon). This is a very bad transit. Moreover, Saturn's ashtakavarga has only 1 rekha (out of 8) in Ta and the last 2.5 years of this 7.5 year period (i.e. transit in Ta) is likely to be the worst. Right now, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu are all Loha Murthis (iron forms - the worst) in transit for you. Recently, Mars also came to 12th (from natal Moon) as a Loha Murthi (dasa lord). Saturn's transit near natal Gulika is not good either (16 deg in Ta). As per Trimsamsa-progression, progressed Sun is closely aspecting natal Kali Sahama (significant point of the zodiac for misfortune). There are just too many such negative factors having an unfortunate confluence right now. This is one of the worst possible times for you. So, even if your sincere prayers are not yielding fruits, don't lose heart. Realize that they are improving things that could've been worse. Keep faith and keep praying. The troubles will pass over. Especially Jupiter's Cancer transit is favorable (4th from natal Moon). Being lagna lord, Jupiter is important for you. In Cancer, he will be a Swarna Murthi for you. So the second half of this year will be better. Keep faith and keep praying. May God bless you! For normal Vimsottari, the Nakstra,the degree of the Moon is considered.
