It appears that you(Chandan) do not reside in India. IF you are

abroad, then buy a good tape of SatyaNarayan Puja and use it when

performing your Vrata. IF you have any brahmin friends who would

like to come home for prasad and lunch, do invite them. IF not

possible, when you go to India, feed brahmins.

My belief is that in Kal Yuga, God does not give much importance to

methodology but gives more importance to dedication and devotion. As

long as you want to pray, do whatever you can and use whatever

facilities are available to you. IF something is not available, that

is okay. Have faith in the almighty and he will accept your prayer

however it is done as long as you do it with devotion.
