dear friends

some of my observations, you can consider it as an article if you

wish to. (laughs)

 

 

1) All planets have 3/4th of their full influence on the 4th and 8th

places from them. In other words they are square their position

forward and back.

2) A planet placed 10th from any house, sign or planet influences

that house. How it affects the house depends on the benefic or

malefic nature of the planet.

3) A planet aspecting a house that it rules empowers that house for

what the house is good for. It is similar to a planet being in it's

own sign.

4) If a benefic planet aspects the same house that a planets aspects

a house it rules, it will give even better results.

5) A planet owning two signs and aspecting one of its signs in any

house, not only strengthens that house but also the house in which

it's other sign falls.

6) A planet that rules two houses will predominately give the effect

of the house the Moola Trikona sign falls

7) In considering the prospects of any house it is important to

consider along with it, the house that is as far removed from the

house, as the house itself is from

the ascendant. This principle is called "Bhavat Bhavam". Example: If

you want to consider the life of the father you would look to the 9th

house, the count 9 houses from the 9th, you would arrive at the 5th

house. Therefore the 5th house would

reveal much as well about the father.

8) A planet will give the result of the planet that rules the sign

that planet is in, plus the house it resides in. It gives the

reason "why" it is the way it is. This is called

a planet's dispositor. Example: If Jupiter is in the 2nd house in

Cancer, the Moon is

the dispositor of Jupiter. The Moon is in the 4th house in Virgo then

the wealth

Jupiter brings is because of the mother (Moon/4th house).

9) When a planet rules two Kendras (angles) excluding the 1st house

it looses power. If it is a benefic it looses its power to do good.

If it is a malefic it looses its power to do harm. Example: In Gemini

logna Jupiter rules the 7th and the 10th therefore Jupiter looses its

power to do good. It is weakened.

10) The planet that rules the 2nd or 12th houses takes on the quality

of the

other house it rules.

11) The rulers of the 3rd, 6th, and 11th houses are difficult for

health matters.

12) The rulers of Triconal (trine) houses are always good for the

chart

especially in their financial effects. The malefics are considered

temporal benefics.

But the natural benefics ruling the trikonal houses are even more

beneficial.

13) Rahu and Ketu take on the quality of the planets that are

associated with them or aspect them. If they are not associated or

aspected by other planets they will give the results of the planet

that rules the sign they are in (dispositor).

14) Rahu and Ketu cast the trine aspect, 5, and 9 signs away from its

position.

15) Rahu acts like Saturn, and Ketu acts like Mars. They carry in my

opinion

the energy of the outer planets. Rahu is similar to Pluto or a

mixture of Uranus/Saturn/Pluto, and Ketu is like Neptune or a mixture

of Neptune/Mars/Uranus.

16) If the rulers of evil houses 3rd, 6th, 8th, or 12th are strong

they increase

the problems of the chart (poverty, debt, death,). If they are weak

and afflicted without any good influence, they destroy the difficulty

in the chart. They can actually give wealth and affluence. This is

called Vipreet Raj Yoga, when difficult planets are

placed in weak positions.

17) The result of any chart must be analyzed not only from the Logna

(ascendant) but also the Moon, and The Sun as the logna.

This is called the Sudarshan, assessing the results from all three

lognas.

18) If the ruler of the 11th and 2nd houses are associated with the

4th house or 4th house ruler or Mars (Mars rules property and real

estate), and is aspected by benefics the individual will own valuable

property.

19) The ruler of the 11th house will be a problematic planet for that

chart.

20) Mercury when unaspected will operate as a benefic. It takes on

the

influence of the planets it is associated with. If it is with

malefics it becomes

malefic, if with benefics it becomes benefic.

21) Mercury is the planet that gives quick results.

22) The planets that have seperative energy are Sun, Saturn, and

Rahu.

These planets cause divorce, separation and death.

23) The Moon and Mercury afflicted in an angle can cause mental

deficiency.

24) When Natural benefics occupy any combination of the 6th 7th 8th

from

the Moon (Adhi Yoga) or the ascendant the individual becomes a

powerful leader.

25) If the ascendant sign is the same in both the Rashi (natal chart)

and the Navamsha (9th harmonic chart) the individual has a strong

body and health. This is called Vargottoma.

26) The 10th House represents the government. The 12th house is the

3rd from the 10th so it represents the arms of government or the

execution of the intention of the government.

27) FEAR: The Moon is afraid of Rahu since it causes its eclipse.

During The Moon's Dasha and Rahu's Bhukti or Rahu dasha Moon Bhukti

there is fear and

mental worry irrespective of the position in the chart. Rahu gives

many types of phobias.

28) Mars is the planet of injury and accidents. Other factors for

injury are the

6th house, its ruler and Ketu.

29) Mars is the indicator of brothers particularly younger. Mars is

the karaka

of the 3rd house.

30) Mars is the planet of intelligence. If it influences the 5th

house of intelligence and the 5th house ruler the individual will be

highly intelligent.

31) The Sun is the signification of honor. When the 1st house and

10th house

are strong the individual has honor and fame.

32) Mercury is the indicator for relatives other than close relatives.

33) Jupiter rules the liver, and if Jupiter is in a bad house

especially the 6th or 8th without any benefic influence, and aspected

by malefics the individual has chronic liver and digestive troubles.

If it is exalted it can make it stronger for these matters.

34) Any planet in the 12th house becomes weak. But Venus is an

exception to this rule. Venus in this house, unless highly afflicted

gives a long living wife, gives pleasure and enjoyments of the bed.

35) Saturn represents the nerves. If it is with or associated with

Rahu and connected to the ascendant the individual experiences

troubles with the nervous system. There can be arthritis, gout or

paralysis.

36) Saturn is the indicator of disease. If associated with the 6th

house or the ruler the body is prone to many diseases.

37) Rahu gives sudden and unexpected results.

38) Rahu rules foreigners, foreign things, foreign lands.

39) Ketu rules injury like Mars. It like Mars represents fire.

40) If Ketu is with a benefic planet the qualities of that house are

empowered. Example: If Ketu is in the second house with Jupiter it

gives great wealth.

41) When a planet is Retrograde it makes the planet stronger. It

operates like a planet in its own sign, but it can be extreme and

erratic, magnifying its results.

If it is in its sign of exaltation and retrograde it can operate like

it is debilitated.

If it is retrograde and debilitated it can reverse the energy giving

the effects of an exalted planet. Because a retrograde planet is

closest to the earth when retrograde it intensifies its energy.

42) A planet that is Stationary either Stationary Retrograde or

Stationary Direct the planets energy will be even more pronounced,

making it the strongest energy in

the chart
