The astrologers who looked at the horoscope, were right. And 7th lord being in Bala-avatha isn't auspicious. Don't consider this a good thing. Saturn and Sun are bitter enemies, hence there is some disturbance here. Wife will have weak body/health due to this. You excluded Rasi Dristi from your observations. Saturn, Mercury, Sun and Moon give Rasi Dristi on Upapada, which shows some of the qualities of the spouse. This isn't very important, however there are 2 points about this chart that struck me. 1) Venus; lord of Upapada is also Badhakesh. Before he marries, he should install an idol of Lakshmi and do pooja. Prolly because he fed Tulasi plants to snakes in past birth. 2) He was born on Amavasya tithi, where moon is weakest. This can damage his health and also have a bad influence on the marriage due to the aspect on Upapada. Noting that his Istha devata is also indicated by Moon, he should definitely Worship Kali. Saturn is lord of 7th from Venus, so worship of Kali brings the spouse. If he can do these remedial messures, the Marriage will be without mental agony, but his wife will have health problems; See 7th lords position in Rasi and Navamsa. This will also need appeasing.
