Last year I performed Chandi Homam along with my family and we all fell sick right after the homam. After I came home I started doing chandi Path at home every tuesday. I completed 40(a Mandalam equivalent to 1 homam) on 8th of Jan and the same night my whole family fell sick again with the exception of my husband. I was told by the priest who performed the homam for us last year that usually a person falls sick after chandi homam since the negativity of the person leaves the body in form of illness. Would you agree with this? What is your opinion? I am plannin to do Homam again next month? What outcome should I expect? Am I doing something wrong? On wednesdays & saturdays start >>>Vishnushashranamam that will be better & will give auspiciuos results...... If at all you say perfomed homam & getting bad results ,there should be fault due to karma or prarabda or the person performed is not well versed or adviced badly ..... going for a good result & getting bad result..... For example for evrery medical problem the will not be same medicine given ...... If some one is not having Issues ....they ask to pray lord Subhramanyam .....why only Lord Skanda ??? why not his father lord Shiva ???? Chandi & chamundi Homamas are not perfomed ......genrally Why this homams were perfomed can you come back on this ,because I am Inqusitive .... That's the reson a learned person should be tested & advice should be taken from him.....
