dear darpaha dasa

the atmakaraka's duty is to make us realise the god, realise the

parmatma. now rahu -guru means that the person may be indulging in

acts that are against his tradition , religion and in the process he

may adopt another culture religion to reach god. but the combination

as to be analysed in a holistic way. if suppose the combination

occurs in 8th house then it is not good. he may have to face lot of

personal turmoil. Any way as a fellow guru-chandala i can only advice

that this is not a very good combination for spiritualoty. but if the

person has guru stronger than the rahu or ketu, then there might be

some solace.

Dear Partha,

Hare Rama Krishna,

I'm asking this because a wife of my friend bring a child to this world

recently with this yoga (Jupiter and Rahu /Atmakaraka/ in Gemini and Mars

and Ketu in Sagitarius in lagna). So, I was wandering what the nature of

this person will be.

BTW, I also have Jupiter with Ketu in the Virgo, 8th house. Rahu is

Atmakaraka. Yes, there were some problems and disagreament with traditional

relligion, my family comes from roman catholic tradition. I accept then

bhakti yoga under the guidance of the Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. And

even there were some problems with the spiritual master. So, although I'm

spiriutualy inclined and devoted to Krishna as Supreme Personality (also I

was living in the Hare Krishna ashram during Rahu Dasa), there were some

problems with spiritual authority, not because my wrong mentality or

behaviour, but because things are simply like this. It is beyond my control.

So, this is one example of this yoga with Rahu Atmakaraka.

If someone wants to loke closer here are the birth datas:

28. July 1969.
