[sjvc] A few questions still unresolved in my undertstaning

Om Hareer vida-dhyaan mama sarva rakshaam

Namaste.... can I get some help on the 3 inquiries below, either clarification

or a source ( book) I can

review to eliminate my doubts...thx

1. Ardha Chandra Yoga (ACY)

2. Kendrahipastya Dosha ( KHD)

3. Nava Tara Chakra

1. Ardha Chandra Yoga

Can someone provide clarification on ACY...this is , this yoga is formed

when all

7 graha's occupy bhava's commencing from a panaphara or apoklima houses

e.g. other

than kendras.

Is the "rule" that one planet per house is required -or- can the 7

planets be unevenly

distributed ; that is, 2 planets in one house , et . yet all the planets

are *contained*

within the 7 bhava rule?

I tried to look the yoga up in several sources, but none of the specifies

whether even distribution is required, or more thasn one may conjunct in one

house. But my understanding, that egenerally speaking about Nabhasa yogas, you

will find several yogas which have overlapping definitions, Thus the definition

of a yoga is to be taken only as a minimum requirement, and if the same planets

also satisfy another yoga with more strict rules, then the effect of the second

yoga should be taken to fructify. So in my understanding, the planets may be

unevenly distributed, as long as they fall within the 7 houses from any

Panapara or Apoklima. But if at the same time, the conditions of another, more

strict Nabhasa yoga are also fulfilled, then the effects of the 3nd will be

prominent.

2. Kendrahipastya Dosha ( KHD)

Can there be comment on this Dosha e.g. the blemish of being the lord of 2 Kendra's ( angles)

Example 1: Virgo Lagna - Guru owns the 4th and the 7th there from ( Sg and Pi)

and KHD applies

Example 2: Virgo Lagna - Budha owns 1st and 10th there from , yet does not have KHD.

Example 3: Gemini Lagna - Guru owns 7th and 10th and KHD applies

Example 4: Gemini Lagna - Budha owns 1st and 4th there from and KHD does not apply.

The correct name is Kendradhipatya Dosha, i.e. a planet becomes only the lord of

Kendras and no trikonas. The effect of this dosha (fault) is that the Kendras

are Vishnu-sthanas, i.e. provide maintenance, and trikonas are Lakshmi-sthanas,

i.e. provide fortune and expansion. If the two are not connected, then the

effect of the kendras will be limited, as they don't receive any inspiration

from the Trikonas. Like a man without a woman is not inclined to work so hard.

In the above cases 2 and 4, the two kendras included the 1st house as well,

which is actually both a Kendra and a Trikona. So Kendradhipatya Dosha is

removed either by one of the houses being the ascendant, or by the lord of the

houses falling into a Trikona. It's interesting that only Jupiter and Mercury

may fall under this dosha. This means that even those who have bright

intelligence, may be seen as unsuccessful in the material life, because

actually they are not interested in it so much.

Questions:1. What blemish should be expected?

The effects of the kendra houses will be limited.

2. Does this rule apply for all Varga charts?

Yes.

3. What is the opposite of this Dosha that would cancel this blemish?

The above stated cases. Maybe the lord's conjuncxtion with a Trikona Lord is also helpful.

4. How powerful is KHD?

It may limit the effects of the houses significantly, let's say by 50%.

3. Nava Tara Chakra

I have heard Sanjayji mentioning it, but can't tell more on it.

What books can I read on this?

Namastre All.

Regarding my questions ( below) on Ardha Chandra Yoga (ACY),

there is some good reading on this subject in BPHS, chapter 37... Nabasa Yoga for those

that have interest.
