Guest guest
dear nomadeva sir yes we are trying to learn a lot. and i am only a small student. if my question has appeared epistomological then please pardon me. my intention is to know the truth. yes vedanta speaks about it. but let me reiterate the answers i am getting are not satisfactory. i wish you could spare some of your valuable time to answer my question:" is my existence dream of another person in antother universe". btw i can visualize black holes and parallle universes in my thougts, and i get such kind of dreams too!! sometimes i get dreams wherein i am flying non-chalantly , landing down, then flying again. always it is a smooth flight. also i get dreams of underwater jpourney, ship journeys etc. OTOH, there is a chapter devoted to dreams in prasna marga voulme ii. i have read that book which was translated by sri. BV RAMAN and it is quite interesting. regrds partha vedic astrology, Nomadeva Sharma <nomadeva> wrote: > Dear Partha, > Let's say there is an astrological answer. The mANDukya Upanishad, Brahmasutras have something to say about this: Mandukya mentions different theories of creation, one of which being that this world is 'svapnamAyA' and rejects it. Talking of this world, the BS say, na svapnAdivat.h (this world is unlike a dream. why?) vaidharmyAchcha; on the account of it being of different character. Why I said it is a matter of epistemology is this: how do you know the above fundas is not a matter discussed in a dream of somebody else? Btw, why do you think dreams are unreal?
