Selecting best compatible girl for marriage based on horoscope

Dear List,

 

I am looking a girl for marriage. I have got reply from roughly 100

candidates for same.

 

My problem is how to select best compatible girl for marriage out these 100

horoscope.

 

Is there any book on the same.

 

Please help.

Dear Sanjeev,

 

I am only a beginner. But I know about the following books regarding

this aspect of life...

1) "Light on relationships" by Hart Defouw is a good one.

2) "Stree Jataka" by Dr. Raman to know about the prospective spouse

3)If you are only interested in matching charts, then Dr. Charak's

book "Elements of vedic astrology volume 2" has a chapter on it.

There is also a free program available on the web (I have lost the

link) that does matching of charts.

give you all the data for matching horoscopes but don't forget to

check out the figures too

Dear sanjeev,

BEST is different from long married life. Bhagavan Ram & Sita had as many as

34/35 guna's matching out of 36 and their married life was far from being he

best. So, think again. In the meantime here are the steps:

1. Look at the pictures of all those beautiful girls and see if you can look

at their eyes. This should shorten the list as there would be so many you

don't like the looks of.

2. Next see your Upapada and determine the possible Lagna. This should

shorten the list even further.

3. Next do the Rasi/Guna matching and this should shorten the list when you

choose in the range of about 18-28 points.

4. Study the charts, Jupiter and Venus positions carefully. If these are

afflicted, forget it.

That should leave a few charts to choose from...

colors and forms have been the subject of greatest debate in my mind. I obey

my father - not to touch my pen till i am sure of what i am going to write.

So, i have to wait till I understand this fully like the aspect of 'giving'

Can you tell me it's publishers name and where to buy it in Delhi, India.

I'm also interested in answer on the question which is given bellow. I have seen

in many examples that is very hard to find the couple for which the rules for

upapada and lagna matching is fully applicable. In almost every example I saw

only one side matching. Can this also be interpreted as good partners

compatibility and to which extent we can claim that partners with this kind of

one sided matching are compatible.

its not simply a case of upapada lagna and lagna being in mutual

trines or quadrants. the influence of the lords must be taken into

account.

 

ie if the lord of girls upapda and the boys lagna are same, then

there is something there and vice versa too. look for the planets

influencing, are the same planets influencing the UL and lagna and so

on
