One horoscope for analysis

Dear list members,

I'm attaching my horoscope for anyone to analyze it. I only have some basic

knowledge on astrology - I have read most of

James Braha books and all the six readers of KP, also read Light of Life ext..

but haven't manage to get/read PVR Narashima or Mr. Sanjay Rath's books yet.

Haven't done much homework on astrology on my own, either.

I find myself having problems with my bosses every few years - only recently I

transfered to a different department due to fallout with my then boss (Left

previous position: May/11/2001-Sa-Me-Su; Started current position on

Jun/06/2001-Sa-Me-Mo).

Similarly changed position at begining of 1999- Jan/18/1999 -Sa-Sa-Mo) due to

the same with my then boss.

For more info., I started to work at this Co. on Aug/21/1995. 1st official job after graduation.

Although I can describe my relationship with my father as OK - towards end of of

his life - I had very strong resentment for some of his behaviour -which I

regret now. My father died on Feb/19/1992 (Ju-Su-Ju).

I have debilited Sun in Libra in Rasi and in most divisional charts. Will this

trend continue for rest of my life?. From what I can see, I may have similar

problems with my current boss couple of months/years down the road - or should

I find get a self employed job. What kind of job will be most suitable for me.

Currently work in semiconductor industry as an engineer.

I tend to put everything I have into my job and it is frustating to see whatever

I worked for just disintergrate. I'm learning to put my ego and expectations

ext. aside and just concentrate on producing a good job.

More info on myself

1) Born in Ra-Me-Ve. From about 2 years old to 6 years old - stayed majority of

the time with paternal grandparents (only returned to my family late 1977) -as

the result, did not develop much bonding with mother.

2) After that, stayed with family until 23+ years old - no travel outside the

state I live in. Only during Ju-Ra-Sa (August-1995) relocated to a different

state(few hundred miles away - same country) - due to my career.

3)Only begin to travel outside the country I was born, in Saturn dasa. Job

related travels - For example:- 1st trip to US (Dec/05/1997); 2nd trip to

US(Nov/14/1999).

4)a)Company I work in, is a foreign company - based in US. Have many contact

with foreignors. Have been offered job in US -which I declined. This I can see

using Placidus chart (instead of equal house chart) and KP system - Stellium (

Ve, Me, Mo - Rahu constellation; Sun-Mars constellation) in the 9th house and

Rahu in the 12th house in Moon constellation. Don't know much to interpretate

the D-4 chart ext.

b) Also I love to read books (9th house) - mainly to own books -some I don't

even read - spend tens of thousands of dollars on books alone. I don't spend

much on clothes ext.

c)Have wrote couple of techincal papers which have published and presented at

international symposiums during 1997 - 2001 periods.

5) Also noticed that I'm protected from enemies(?) in some way. My previous

boss1 (in 1999) loss his then position due to clash with me and has to take a

less "pretigous" position - I didn't intend it to happen that way(never

suspected it could happen since I was in much junior position than he was).

Currently he is in a different Co. with much better position and we are in

talking terms.

The department I just transfered from in May 2001 - had major layoffs anounced

3 months after I left, which puts my boss2 in an uncertain position also. Using

Placidus house system I have Ketu in 6th house in Mercury constellation and

Mercury Sub.

6) I also have very low self esteem and am very afraid to get into any

relationships - mostly I'm a loner.

Dear Carol,

>From a quick glance at your chart, its clear why the problems have started.

You'll see that Saturn and Sun, are in 6th/8th from each other in both Rasi and

Dasamsa(D-10 used for work).

As per the Pachakadi-Sambandha scheme(given in Sarvath Chintamani), Saturn is

always enemical to its karaka, who is the one who does its work. This is

because Saturn likes todo all the work itself, as then it knows the work will

be right. Hence its hard for Saturn to see others doing its work for it, as its

the Karmayogi of the chart.

The natural Karaka(Doer) for Saturn is Jupiter, and the Karaka House for Saturn

is the 6th house, hence all grahas in the 6th will cause enimical circumstances

towards Saturn during their Dasa, or during Saturn Dasa.

Similarly during the Narayana Dasa of signs being in the 6th from Saturn, this could happen.

Saturn, in this case, is your lagna lord, so clearly these circumstances come

from own actions. The sign containing Lagna Lord is called Paka Lagna, and the

lord of Paka Lagna, shows the fortune of how one manifests ones activities.

Lord of Paka Lagna is in 10th house, in 6th from Saturn, so the fruits of your

acitivity aren't exactly helping you, but rather adding to the problems. i.e.

Allthough you may be a good worker(paka lagna aspected by Ketu and Venus

causing Tapaswi Yoga), the results of your work(lord of Paka Lagna), give you

problems(placed in 6th from Saturn).

Now its important to note that Saturn currently is transiting Taurus, which is

your natal placement for Saturn.

Saturn in 8th from Moon, produces Kanataka(thorn) Sani, which causes emotional pains and stress.

In middle of 2002, it will cross into the 10th from Arudha Lagna, so you have

asked this question at the right time, so we can prepare for any saturnian

problems.

When Saturn transits 10th from Arudha Lagna, the person suffers lots of

obstacles/losses in their professional life.

As explained before, its clear why Libra Narayana Dasa gave the problems.

Libra also contains Darapada and is the 10th house, hence these areas will be

affected in a negative way by Saturn.

You'll switch over to Cancer Antar Dasa in october next year. At that time,

Saturn will have entered the 10th from Arudha Lagna.

Cancer contains Ketu. When the 1st, 7th or 10th houses contains Ketu, check if

Mars is aspecting(graha Dristi) Lagna. If so then theres a fear of black-magic.

In your case, Mars is in lagna, whilst also being Badhakesh(lord of Badhaka =

11th from Movable signs).

This will cause direct problems to your health. As Badhakesh also is involved,

there is something extra to be noted here. The people who create these problems

are seen from the SatruPada(A6). Among these, Sun also aspects the Saturpada by

Rasi Dristi.

+ Remedial Messures +

Now in every way, we should try to strengthen relations with co-workers, who the

boss should also come under.

Darapada shows co-workers/partners, and is the 6th from Saturn. So this is the

place we need to strengthen.

As this is related to profession, we need to worship the Palana Devata. This is

seen through the 6th from Amatya Karaka in Navamsa. Amatya Karaka is Venus,

placed in Pisces. The 6th from Pisces is Leo, unoccupied. Its Lord; Sun,

indicates Shiva/Savitur should be worshipped.

Now look at Rasi and you can see why you are having problems with Sun. So theres a direct link.

Being the 10th house, we need to chose a mantra with 10 Aksharas.

The following Mantra, where we worship Shiva as the Sun-god(Aditya) is ideal for

you. It should be practiced every morning(preferably at sunrise) and said 108

times.

Dasakashari Aditya Mantra: "Om Hrim Ghrinih Surya Aaditya Shrim".

Make sure you don't recite the mantr as; Suryaaaditya, as then it will have 9 Aksharas. =).

Recite this for sometime, and then also tell me how your love life is going =).

As for gems;

We can't give you a gem for Sun, as he is weak. Venus is out of the question as

he debilitates Sun. Either Moon or Mercury, as they are both benefics placed in

the 2nd from Arudha Lagna(wealth), should be good.

Moon is the gem for compassion, and wearing it on the right hand rign finger, in

a silver metal, begining on a Monday, should help with the relations.

+ Advice +

You asked whether you could start an independant business.

Well looking at Dasamsa, you have Exalted Venus in Lagna which gives good

creativity and survival instinct(Amritsadevi). Jupiter goes to the 9th house in

Dasamsa, and is Lagna lord, hence you could do very well on your own, and it

would be a clear recommendation todo so, as you like being your own boss when

you work.

Thank you so much - I didn't expect such a detailed answer. Really helped me to

see some things clearly.

Yes, you are right. The description of Pachakadi-Sambandha scheme fits me to the

T. Most of the time, I want to do all the work myself - for one reason or

another - that others (my bosses especially) get a different impression.

The 3rd and final time Sa crossed my natal Sa exactly(Saturn return) was in the

vicinity of my recent transfer (during May-June 2001) to a different department

- I took up a position in a totally new field - something I don't have any

knowledge on - i.e started from scratch.

Your explainations are very good - however since I don't have much knowledge in

vedic astrology - I can't digest some yet - I'll read up on the things that I

don't understand and feedback later on this.

Update on love life - funny you should say this - right now all I want to do is

hide inside a hole-don't have the nerve to get involved in a relationship -

will certainly update you on this if there is progress
