Hello,

Wish you all a happy new year. New member to the group. I have a

query.

Could the knowledgeable please help me understand Brhat Samhita

Ch III Verse 1-3. I am reading a translation by M.R.Bhat. I have the

following queries

1. Is the verse regarding the position of the Sun at the solstices?

2. What is the current position of the sun(in year 2001, 2000 etc) on

the day that the author suggests.

3. Any other views that might help in understanding the verses is

appreciated.
