EDITORIAL: India on the verge of great rise

Namaste friends,

 

In an article posted a week back, I advised that Indian leaders

should handle the Indo-Pak crisis skillfully, as things might heat up

after Jan 2. I wrote that there was a very good chance of aggressive

military action by India during January 23-February 11.

 

There is apprehension in the world that an Indo-Pak war may lead to

nuclear holocaust and that neither side would benefit. However, an

examination of India's independence chart suggests that India is on

the verge of entering a crucial and excellent phase in its existence

as an independent nation. There are no indications of a great

calamity or setbacks.

 

The period 2002-2011 is likely to prove to be the best period for

India so far. During these 9 years, India will rise in stature and

become a dominant nation in the world, politically, economically,

culturally and spiritually. From a nation of self-doubters suffering

from an inferiority complex and slave mentality developed during the

long foreign rule, India will rise like a phoenix and claim its

rightful place as a confident and progressive world leader.

 

Astrologers among you will naturally want to know my reasoning. You

don't have to go any further than Narayana dasa of the independence

chart.

India is currently running Pisces dasa. Taking Pisces lagna, Rahu in

3rd made India bold (nuclear tests etc). Ketu in the 9th house of

dharma brought religious and spiritual issues to the fore and some

unrest related to them. The 9th lord Mars in the 4th house of

education in analytical Gemini brought controversial and conservative

(9th!) reforms (Mars!) in education (4th).

 

This dasa is fast approaching its end. Next dasa of Libra will start

in August 2002. Why do I think that this dasa will be great?

 

Take Libra as lagna and analyze India's chart, to see the results for

2002-2011. The most striking feature of this chart is the excellent

raja yogas in the 10th house in Cancer. From the previous dasa lagna

of Pisces, the five-planet combination in Cancer is mixed. It

includes 5th lord, 7th lord and the lords of 3 dusthanas (from

Pisces). Neither the raja yoga nor the viparita raja yoga is powerful

enough and they interfere with each other. In contrast, the same

combination is excellent when reckoned from Libra. Lagna lord Venus,

5th lord and yogakaraka Saturn, 9th lord Mercury and 10th lord Moon

share several excellent raja yogas between them. Functional malefic

Sun's presence does not weaken the yogas much. The excellent raja

yogas are particularly powerful as they occur in the 10th house.

 

Dasa pravesh chart (2:9:16 am on Aug 15, 2002) is also favorable, as

the 10th lord of the dasa pravesh (period commencement) chart is

exalted and the 6th lord is debilitated, giving Jaya yoga. India will

be victorious (Jaya), defeat enemies (debilitated 6th lord) and make

name for itself (exalted 10th lord) in this 9-year period.

 

Undoubtedly, India's international stature will increase considerably

and India will become a very powerful global player. This may be

tough to believe for some Indians, who were in slavery for centuries

and still maintain the instincts of a slave and look west for

validating any of their thoughts or views, but the astrological

pointers clearly show that India will rise like a phoenix in the

coming 9-10 years. As the first antardasa is Cancer itself

(containing Moon and other raja yoga giving planets), the dasa should

start with a bang and the results should start immediately.

 

In this context, bold moves by India in the coming months - which are

by the way very crucial for the world - are unlikely to boomerang.

India should be able to take calculated risks aimed at eliminating

the nuisances that are bogging it down.

 

During January 2-22, things may start heating up, but it will be

beneficial for India to restrict itself to behind-the-scenes

activities, preparation and planning. It is not advisable to launch

any attacks before January 22. Parliament attack happened in Cn PD as

per Mandooka dasa of independence chart and Cn contains Rudra dwara.

Vi contains Rudra bahya and debilitated Venus. This period is not

good for India. It shows losses and even another attack cannot be

ruled out. So it will be wise of Indian leaders to wait till January

22. As Jan 23-Feb 15 is favorable to India and very very unfavorable

to India's enemies, any military action undertaken then is likely to

have positive results.

 

I hope that Indian and Pakistani leaders display wisdom and

statesmanship in the coming months and handle the crisis maturely. If

it indeed comes down to war, I hope that the loss of innocent lives

is minimized.

 

In any case, India is on the verge of entering a glorious period.

Dear Narasimha,

 

In Sanjay's "Narayana Dasa" book, on Page 109, it is stated that "It

maybe noted that the effect of the forthcoming Narayana Dasa is felt

within a year before it begins, from the month when the Sun transits

the sign of the fortcoming Dasa."

 

As per this, then effect of Pi Dasa should have started taking its

effect from Oct 15 2001.

 

That would mean, that the attack on Parliament, is a blessing in

disguise(notwithstanding the lives lost and humiliation) and an

indication/signal from the heavens to India, to take some strict

action at the appropriate time.

 

All this time, these *Terrorists* were acting surreptitiously, making

it difficult for India, to come up with circumstantial evidence to

present a valid case to the world.

 

In the wake of the latest attack(Parliament)....it has now provided

India with a legitimate evidence and reason to protect itself

militarily, with even US having to acknowledge India's right for self-

defense.
