Guest guest
I am confused which Cat's eye is for Ketu. I looked at few astrology books including Mr. Raths (where is says Chrysoberyl) and they have different opinion. CHRYSOBERYL CATS EYE is color change greenish, but some of the astrological leatature describe Cat's eye as smoky (mixture of black and white). There are 24 different Cats eye and all of them are smoky with slight difference in color. Which one among the following Cat's-eye is for ketu? Therefore all “cat’s eyes” is derived for it’s chatoyancy/asterism of any gem. As Ketu gets it graha from any sign it disposits, it maybe natural to choose the chatoyancy of the colour of that particular planet, provided the planet does not own inimical signs/houses. The smoky colour you described is actually not a mixture of black and white, but more a dark grayish brown colour [already suggesting that it maybe too included to be classified as “gemmy” for astrological use.
