Rasi will show us how the afinity for music will dominate her life. A natural afinity for music is seen in the Navamsa, where Lagna should be associated with Moon(for singing), Venus(love of the arts) and/or Sun(for playing instruments). Here Navamsa Lagna(Lagnamsa) is Pisces, and its lord is joined with Moon, in Gemini, hence giving Rasi Dristi on Pisces Lagnamsa. Also Venus is in 7th, allthough debilitated, giving Graha and Rasi Dristi on Pisces Lagnamsa. - Lagnamsaka Dasa - Whats it for?: Lagnamsaka Dasa will show when the persons inborn traits(navamsa) manifest in her life(rasi). How to calculate it?: So we start by finding the Lagnamsa, which is Pisces. Then we go to Rasi and find the stronger of Pisces and Virgo, to initiate the Dasa. Virgo is stronger as it has more grahas. The length of Virgo Dasa is 12 years, as its lord is in own sign. How to judge the dasa's?: Now since we started Dasa's from the 7th house from Lagnamsa sign(pisces)we should always reckon the results from the sign opposite the Maha Dasa sign.. Just like Narayana Dasa. So Virgo Dasa will bring the results of Pisces. Pisces is lorded by Jupiter and is joined with Moon in trines to Lagna!! Jupiter is also lord of Akash Tattwa, and hence lords audible sounds. - Moola Dasa - Whats it for?: To see the fructification of Yogas basically. Its a very simple dasa, and is calculated from Rasi Chart. Using it we can see when the Yogas of the Rasi Chart fructify. Much easier than the often used Vimshottari Dasa, however abit harder to calculate. How to calculate it?: Oh well thats a long story. This should be subtracted from the full ammount of Vimshottari years of Mercury(17), which gives; 17-12 = 5 years. How to judge the Dasa's?: In this case, i'm only going to see how the results of past life, are brought into the world, during this period of life. In Shastyamsa(D-60), Mercury is in Gemini, and joined with Venus, whilst in Rasi Dristi to Moon and Sun! This surely awakens some interest for music in the past life. I'm however not sure of the D-60 Lagna. Add 30 seconds and Moon will be in 2nd, whilst Venus and Mercury are in trines. Ketu in Lagna shows a very sensitive nature. Hope this helps. Moon is in 5H in Navamsa. Moon intrines to Lagnamsa is sure-shot indication of interest in Music. Also, Venus is posited in her Moolatrikona sign of Libra in D-9, D-10 and D-27(Inherent Strength) and in D-24(Education) it is exalted!!! Another interesting fact is that, her 3H in D-1, D9 & D-10 are extra- strong and have 37, 36 & 34 points respectively!!! 3H is a very important for Musicians & Artistes. In D-1 & D-9, the 3rd Lords have connection to the 8H!!! So in short, she has the potential. The connection with 8H is baffling indeed!!! This could mean, 1. Something she has to work hard for(As 8H is 6th from 3rd House). 2. Curse from previous life.(Note Venus is debilitated in D-60) 3. Connection to Occult, or and 8H thing like something unique. Note 3H in D-30 has Moon and aspected by exallted 3L and Deb. Venus. Notice the connection of Moon...in trines in D-1 & D-9. In trines to Venus in D-24, 3H in D-60, and 5L in D-27. She is running the Dasa of Moon as per Lagna Vimsottari Dasa!!! The AD should be Jupiter if I am not mistaken!! She has GajaKesari Yoga in D-1 & D-10!! I might have questions for you in a few days as soon as I've digested what you wrote(hope you don't mind). I'm still at the beginning stage as far as my vedic study. Some facts about this girl: She loves to sing and dance....not shy when ask to do so in front of family friends. She's also very charismatic. I know she's only 4 yrs old, but right now she's not showing any interest in academics . She doesn't like it when you try to teach her alphabets and numbers, which she has yet to identify when shown a letter or number. (she knows the numbers 1 and 2 and letter M). When it comes to study time, she'll always make an excuse that she's sleepy. She's quite a contrast to her sister. Her older sister knew her alphabets and numbers etc...at age 2.5 -3 yrs old. Her older sister is also a fast learner and seems to have a mature mind. Her sister also loves to learn new things and welcomes the challenge.
