COVA - Clarifications

Dear Sanjayji, Gurus & members...

 

Going through the book COVA, was a unique experience.

Each sentence in it had something to offer, thanks for

an outstanding work. Rationale for every prediction is

what has added to the beauty. I will be thankful for a

few clarifications ….

1. In Page 125, in the example, Jup Lord of Pi is

placed in Leo. What is the exceptional rule applicable

here for the prediction of birth of a sister pl?

2. If we are to consider Graha Dristi, Rasi Dristi &

Argalas, barring two houses almost all the houses will

be influenced, some of them more than once. How do we

draw inferences of the final influence? Planets/Rasis

in 7th are said to oppose the house. However,such a

planet will aspect the house under consideration by

7th aspect. Will it not be beneficial, considering a

functional benefic in 7th? My understanding is that

Aspects ( Graha or Rasi) are kind of influence so also

the intervention (argala). Pl clarify.

 

3. You have indicated that the dasa of the 8th lord in

D10, will be invariably bad. Will it be bad if it is

in the 12th (VRY) and when it is the Karmadhipathy in

Rasi chart?

4. What is Srimantah Yoga? Is it for wealth alone?

5. How reliable are the Kunda & Vighati method of

birth time rectification?

6. There is some reference made to Varnada Lagna in

your book. Where can we find additional details about

its application?

 

 

You have made reference to your article on Arudhas in

the Astro Mag 1997. Will it be possible to get a copy

of it pl?

Rath:Too late in the day to check the reference, but if someone can attach the

jhd chart, it will be easy. i will also suggest making the charts yourself as

there are a few printing errors in that book. thank you for your kind words..my

efforts have been paid many times.

My understanding is thatAspects ( Graha or Rasi) are kind of influence so also

the intervention (argala). Pl clarify.Rath: Wrong Prashant, ALL 12 houses will

be influenced. That must be a typo. Take a case to understand Argala better.

Suppose a person has Mercury in leo for aries Lagna. Mercury has nothing to do

with the second house. So, during 17 years of Merury dasa does he stop eating

food? No, he has to eat to live. So, what makes him eat food? It is the

subhargala of Mercury on the second house Taurus by being in the fourth from

it. Graha drishti is desire 'Ichcha' and Rasi drishti is without Ichcha..it is

natural. Try to get my tapes from BAVA (www.bava.org) for more details on this.

Rath: No, not that bad especially if you are dealing with insurance, loans

etc.4. What is Srimantah Yoga? Is it for wealth alone?

Rath: different versions of the Srimantah Yoga re provided in my translation of

the Jaimini Sutra. Largely for wealth and some reputation coming from Sri Vidya

or Sri shakti5. How reliable are the Kunda & Vighati method of birth time

rectification?

Rath: Very reliable. They have been given by the Maharishi's. Use them only for

fine tuning6. There is some reference made to Varnada Lagna in your book. Where

can we find additional details about its application?Rath: Maharishi Jaimini's

Upadesa SutraYou have made reference to your article on Arudhas in the Astro
