Ravana from Rama's chart

Dear Pt Sanjay Rath,

Thank you very much for your in depth explanation.

I acknowledge that telling an Asura from a Rakshasa is quite difficult for

me an occidental but I can grab better that distinction now.

But I am still confused about that Pravrajya Yoga, formed by Jupiter and

Moon (two benefics) in 6th from AL, taking Sagittarius as Lagna for Ravana

in Rama’s chart.

It’s difficult for me to see a sort of renunciation to the material world

concerning Ravana.

Except from these points, other points fit well to Ravana in this chart.

AL and UL for the normal Rama chart are together in Aries with Sun. It is

3rd from satrupada which means that bravery of Ravana was expressed by his

willingness to defy Rama and Sita.

Counting from Sagittarius, UL is in Pisces with exalted Venus indicating

Mandodari’s great beauty.

But this Pravraja Yoga disturbs me… or I hadn’t well understood what that

Yoga implied.

In any Pravrajya Yoga, Saturn must agree to giving the renunciation. There is no

renunciation in the case of Ravana. It is just Bhakti for Guru/Shiva. You have

made an excellent point about Mandodari. In fact Ravana fell after her heart

was broken.

Actually Ravana went in search of Maha lakshmi & went to patala loka & her

father-in-lawa was a hari Bhakta ,Some how the marriage took place ...Mandodari

is a great women & she cautions Ravana ,By telling a simple example She tells

Lord Rama is non other

than Maha Vishnu she is very Intelligent women >>>>> shw narrates a simple

example ......She tells ravana you have not taken boon from Lord Shiva & lord

Bhrama ...that you can be killed by a Human ...Its a very difficult to control

a single Monkey ....quite unstable creature ....lord Rama is controlling so

many Vanara's & Bear Jambhavantha ...Undoubtedly is is Maha Vishnu ...Her

father was a Maha Vishnu bhakta ...When Hanuman enters Lanka ...He Initially

sees Mondodari & thinks she is Maha lakshmi Sita

After seeing In ashoka vana He comes to conclusion that the one near ashoka tree

is maha lakshmi Sita .....

I will not deviate ence forth from astrology ......
