Guest guest
Hi all, There's an interesting, albeit improbable-sounding, formula for calculating which of a couple would die first. Here it is... Count the star of the wife from the star of the husband. Multiply that number by 7. Divide the product by 28. Call the remainder A. Then count the star of the husband from the star of the wife. Repeat the earlier multiplication and division. Call this remainder B. The one with the higher figure goes first. Example: Husband's star - Aslesha. Wife's star - Rohini. Number of the wife's star from husband's - 23. 23 x 7 = 161. The remainder after dividing this by 28 is 21. If this is repeated for the wife, the remainder will be 14. The husband dies first. Warm regards, Ramapriya hubli

Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, I knew someone would ask me this I actually don't know the answer either to this, or indeed when there isn't a remainder. My boss and his wife are Hasta and Swati and I couldn't figure out a figure for that either. I guess this formula has been suggested because it's very rare for arranged marriages to occur between people of the same stars (because of all the unwanted dasa sandhis, etc)... And Sanjay, please gimme the ISBN of your Narayan Dasa book.
