Guest guest
Hi all, Was reading Sanjay's "Crux of Vedic Astrology." One of his observations caught my attention. He's stated that it's the 4th and not 5th house that relates to education. This rule is not very apparent in my chart. I've Virgo ascendant with Jupiter in Cancer. Going by what Sanjay says, since my 4th lord is exalted, I should have been highly educated and intelligent whereas I was actually always a very average student and just about managed to stumble thru my civil engineering. The 4th house is also aspected by Sun and Mercury from Gemini, and Saturn from Pisces (since Saturn is a trine lord for Virgo ascendants, it can't be a malefic). Can anyone explain why this mediocrity in education could possibly have been? Just for the record, I was born on 10th July 1967 at 11:10 am at 75-13 E, 15-20 N (Hubli). Warm regards, Ramapriya hubli
Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namaha! ------- Dear Ramapriya, 4th = Primary Education(until 12th/13th grade) 5th = Knowledge. 9th = Higher education(being 6th from 4th; If you work hard in primary education, you can keep studying). Look at d-24 to see all the answers, the Rasi isn't enough in this regard. Most importantly, the Narayana Dasa of D-24 will show what type of knowledge, the person aquires, and will dominate whatever is indicated in the chart. The person may not get to study the indications of the 9th house in his/her chart, until the Narayana Dasa permits it.. Hence the reason that some go back to school at a late age. Similarly, the Narayana Dasa of Dasamsa, will dominate the persons work/profession, whereas the Artha trikona in Dasamsa, will finaly show the persons actual profession. When they get there, depends on Narayana. Best wishes, Visti. --- ramapriya_d <ramapriya_d wrote: > Hi all, > > Was reading Sanjay's "Crux of Vedic Astrology." > > One of his observations caught my attention. Guest guest
***Jaya Jagannath***Dear Ram If you read that book further you will notice an important factor about judgment of any house. "IF THE LORD OF A HOUSEIS A NATURAL BENEFIC AND IS PLACED IN A DUSTHANA, ESPECIALLY THE EIGHTH FROM IT, THE HOUSE SIGNIFICATIONS SHALL SUFFER OR BE DESTROYED". I have cited the chart of Sri Ram where the sixth Lord Jupiter (For Cancer Lagna) is exalted in lagna and his exalted enemy Ravana was finally destroyed. This brings death to the house under consideration, especially Jupiter and Moon in the eighth. for Aries, an exalted Jupiter can indicate early death for father unless the Sun is strong. That should explain your predicament that inspite of getting the best opportunities (exalted Jupiter), you did not make the best of it. Guest guest
JAI GURUDEV. Pujya Guruji, You have given a rule that, any benefic planet 8th from its own house, destroys its effect of that perticuler house. What result then a Dhanus native with Guru exalted can expect ? Does it indicate an alarm bell during Jupitor dasa? Mr. Radha Krishnan also had the same combination. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Namaste Guruji Solai, You wrote: > Namaste Mohan, > There is an exception to this rule, and that exception is what you > mentioned, Jupiter placed in cancer for Dhanus Lagna. At this position,Jupiter is 6th from Arudha Lagna, which is very good for Spirituality.> In case Jupiter is debilitated in Navamsa, in the above case, it leads one towards materialism instead of spiriualism. Is it not? In such a case, how to interpret the placement of Jupiter in 8th from its own house? Thanks and regards Your sisya viswanadham > Thanks > Solai Kannan
