Guest guest
dear list When you read valmiki ramayana it is clearly mentioned that the great rama was born in punarvasu nakshatra. lakshmana was born in aslesha and the great monk-king bharatha was born in pushya nakshatra. The traditionalist astrologers apart, there is a strong reason for rama to be born in punarvasu makshatra. I have read in Jyotishya ratnavali written by my great grandfather(father of my grandmother) that people born under punarvasu nakshtra generally have lot of inner urge to explore the mysteries of the divine sciences. Thus to attain the goals they tend to impose upon themselves any kind of trouble to attain the result. This is a very crude transalation of his work. What balaji has quoted is absolutely correct. My father who is a learned pundit used to teach me a lot of ramayana an bhagvat gita. He used to transalate the sanskrit word for my convieneice as i am a novice in sanskrit. FOr the benifit of some memebers i would request them to read sundarakanda. This is the one of the most intersting chapetrs of ramamyana which explains the exploits of Veer Hanuman. each sub chapter in sundarakanda is said to give remedies in a particular area of life. say suppose one is not having courage to face the battles of life, then he could read the chapter in which hanumana actually enters lanka and reads a mantra before going for his legendary tour. in the mantra he quotes the name of the lord rama and other divinities and plunges into action. this mantra is sure to give courage to people in adversity. regards partha vedic astrology, balaji srinivasan <sri_balaji> wrote: > Dear PVN, > > You have a valid point.
