Guest guest
Dear friends there has been a lot of research into the role of divisonal charts into the prospects of a native. I would add a small point here . in practical experience i have found that the planets even if they are exalted in divisional charts do not enhance the qualities of the native chart. say mars is debilitated in the rasi chart. then his exaltation in the d9 or d10 cannot increase the power of mars. this is because the divisional charts only confirm wether the debilitation in the rasi chart was bad, was the planet weak or is he worse. so the exaltation in the divisional charts prevents the fall of the planet further!!!. divisional charts are to be used only in the case of margin. they should never be the foundation. rasi chart is the foundation over which other charts are the superstrucutres. regards partha
Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namaha! ------------- Dear Partha, I don't entirely agree with you, but on most points yes. Debilitated in Rasi whilst exalted in Navamsa gives Neecha Banga Raja Yoga, where the person rises from a very low position..hence your statement isn't entirely correct. Rasi, Navamsa, Shastyamsa are the most important vargas. Why did Parasara Rishi, give Shastyamsa the highest Vimshopaka Scores? Best wishes, Visti. --- partvinu5 wrote: > Dear friends > > there has been a lot of research into the role of > divisonal charts > into the prospects of a native. Guest guest
Hi, It is good to look at divisional charts. But basic strength comes from the rasi chart. Also with inaccurate times and confusing ayanamsas, D-60 may not be reliable or correct. In practice, Navamsa is looked for Spouse and profession largely. We see in our newsgroup, people talk more about D-10 for profession while the basics like 10th from Sun, Moon and Lagna, Navamsa rasi of 10th lord is all not touched upon. warm regards, Balaji S. --- Visti Larsen <in_joy_i_scream wrote: > Vyam Vysadevaya Namaha! > ------------- > Dear Partha, > I don't entirely agree with you, but on most points > yes. > > Debilitated in Rasi whilst exalted in Navamsa gives > Neecha Banga Raja Yoga, where the person rises from > a > very low position..hence your statement isn't > entirely > correct. > > Rasi, Navamsa, Shastyamsa are the most important > vargas. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namaha! ------ Dear Balaji, Your references are correct, but those points don't specifically show the profession, but rather the carreer potential. 10th from Moon shows the work that the mind is attracted to. 10th from Karakamsa shows the work the atma desires. Navamsa shows all Dharma. Shastyamsa shows all Karma.. All pretty important. Best wishes, Visti. --- balaji srinivasan <sri_balaji wrote: > Hi, > > It is good to look at divisional charts. Guest guest
Dear balaji S., You have summed it up perfectly. I wrote anarticle illustrating this point with some interesting examples. It is posted at: http://skywebsite.com/hollow//id21.html I welcome your comments. Dharmapada vedic astrology, balaji srinivasan <sri_balaji> wrote: > Hi, > > It is good to look at divisional charts. Guest guest
Hi, I am in agreement with what is there in the article to a good part. Yes, with accurate time one can have more insight using the divisional charts. But, ayanamsa is still there to cause confusion with many versions. There are people who vouch for Raman's and some other for Lahiri's. Raman also talks about Atmakaraka in his examples. I see the Divisional charts for 'fine tuning'. They may provide additional support. For example, a graha which is strong in Rasi, if it is in own places in Vargas, it does good. Visti said 10th from Moon is indicating desires. Freewill is the product of the mind - so 10th from moon is a strong indicator for profession. Even the whole universe is created with the wish of God. So, we should know the great role played by Moon in all our charts. It is not mere feeling - it also motivates for work. warm regards, Balaji S. --- 0108 wrote: > > Dear balaji S., > > You have summed it up perfectly.
