Guest guest
OM NAMH SIVAYA RESPECTED GURUJIS Respected Sarajit Sir PRANAAM SIR You have cleared my doubts. But my question on Narayan dasa has not been answered. Many Astrologers use vimshottari to predict the results. You have said that narayana dasa is more phalit than vimshottari. Vimshottari dasa system explains the psychological drives in a particular period. Your example of examination was good but I could not understand the subtle differences. Can't we predict events like marriage and success through Vimshottari itself. Why then we have to use Narayana dasa system. Guest guest
Namaste Kartheek, Many people have highlited the differences in Star based and Rasi based dasa systems. Now if you have read Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra, in Vol 2 of G.C Sharma's translation you will find tens of Dasa systems. Add to this some more given by Jaimini. So you have many dasa systems, of which only one is being widely used. If a system is widely used it need not be that it is perfect. I also find that people do not use 'Arudhas', divisional charts (other than D1 & D9) and scores of other things that have been given in the classics mentioned above. The overall effect is poor results. My advise for you is focus on 'How' rather than on 'why' Narayana dasa. Off course it is a different thing if You are already getting excellent results using other dasa systems. Notice the capital Y in you!! Find some time to go through the archives and start with the older ones.Check the recent book 'Narayana Dasa' by Pandit Sanjay Rath.
