Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna Dear Partha! Please restrain from issuing such comments (Grow up Man!), otherewise you might be asked to leave this group by the administrator.. You have no rights tell something in someone else's behalf. What is the use of discussion if there is no learning!!!!! Can you justify what you said.... Dear Kartheek The two are not different system. The system which you call the Jaimini system has the full conformance with the Parasari system. What Jaimini did was to refine the system so that these can be better understool we normal mortals in this Kali yuga, whose intellectual levels have detoriated largely. Study Parasara and you will find many things which Jaimini discussed in his book. As of the difference between the Nakshatra dasa and Rasi dasa. As the name suggest one starts from Birth/ Moon/ or some other nakshatra and the lords of the nakshatra indicate the results however, the other starts with Rasi such as Lagna or some other house (based on which dasa you are rekoning) and the results indicated are based on the indications of the signs, their lords, and the planets placed or aspecting that sign. This the difference in the method of reckoning and interpreting. However, the results shown by these also depend on which dasa you are using, aayur dasa, phalita dasa or some others. Both in nakshatra and the Rasi dasas, we have different dasas indicating different area of life and death.... This is some hints to make to keep going. Revert back in case you have some specif queries. Guest guest
Hi Kartheek, To the best of my humble knowledge, drawing a difference between Parasara and Jaimini is WRONG. If you read the classic BPHS Rasi Drishti has been talked of by Parasara... In his clasic work, Jaimini maharishi has quoted classic texts for reference. I dont think there are two differnet systems. Other more learned members here will guide you. Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAAYAH RESPECTED GURJIS RESPECTED SARAJIT SIR You are so kind. Thank you for giving me useful information. But my humble doubt is why there is a nakshatra system and a Rasi dasa system. Why can't we use only the one which gives accurate results. Aren't all the systems Phalit. then why should we use Narayana Dasa and not VImshottari. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna Dear Kartheek! First of all the mantra "OM NAMAH SIVAYAH" as you wrote needs slight modification. This should be "OM NAMH SIVAYA". You need not address me with Sir!.... Anyway doesn't matter. The flow of language speaks more than the words themselves.... Your doubt is quite justified. First the question is whether all dasas are Phalita? No...... There are many dasas such as Navamsa, Brahma, Sthira, Shoola dasa which are specifically used for Aayu or longevity and health. In Nakshatra based dasa there are some like Yogini (for misfortune) and some say Ashtottari is used for this purpose. There are many more such as Sudasha which shows properity and happiness in one's life..... Why can we take one dasa and see the result from the same then? This is because the Aayu can be "better seen from the Aayu dasa", Vimshottari is seen for psychological condition and drives that come during a specific dasa-antardasa and so on. The physical events or the manifestation of the events are better seen from the Narayana and not Vimshottari. Here we can't see one and leave the others. Lets say, you are appearing in an exam, you might get nervous during the exam and be happy after the results are out (vimshottari), however, it would be difficult to say whether you really passed, though we can say something through implication. However, Passing the exam is an event and can be better shown by the Narayana Dasa. There is utility for both....... and also others... When there are dasas which show specific areas of one's life why to take a generalised dasa and try to interpret the events (I don't say it is not possible, however I would say that this is difficult). Hope I am clear.
