Guest guest
Aum Suryaayah Namah, Namaste Majid, I am reproducing a post by Pt. Sanjay Rath in another list below on the reason why Narayana Dasa Ayus is 144yrs and is constant. WHAT MANOJ WANTS IS THE BASIS FOR THIS 144 YEARS LIKE VIMSOTTARI HAS A SOUND BASIS FOR 120 YEARS (TRINE FROM ONE BRAHMA NABHI TO ANOTHER). THE DEFINITION OR UNDERSTANDING OF NARAYANA COMES FROM THE DHYANA SLOKA .. DHAYET SADA SAVITR MANDALA MADHYA VARTI.. AND SO THE REFERENCE AND FOCUS IS ON THE SUN AS THE SOURCE OF ALL LIFE. WE ARE ALSO AWARE OF THE ONE TWELFTH DIVISION OF EACH SIGN WHEREBY EACH SIGN HAS ONE POTION IN ALL OTHER SIGNS. SUCH A DIVISION IS CALLED SURYAMSA OR DWADASAMSA. NOW, IF WE TOTAL ALL THE DWADASAMSA IN ALL SIGNS THEN WE GET 144 WHICH IS THE PARAM AYUS OF THE NARAYANA DASA. FURTHER SINCE EACH SIGN CAN HAVE ONLY 12 SURYAMSA ITS MAXIMUM PERIOD IS LIMITED TO 12 YEARS. NOW APPLY THIS TO BOTH VIRGO MERC EXALTED AND SAG JUP DEBILITATED SITUATIONS. WE HAVE 12 FULL YEARS FOR MERCURY AND THAT CANNOT BECOME 13 EVEN IF WE WANT TO GIVE IT A YEAR IN ADDITION FOR ITS EXALTATION (KN RAO FACED THIS PROBLEM WITH HIS OWN CHART AND HENCE SUGGESTED THE RADICAL REJECTION OF THE SPECIFIC DICTUM RELATED TO EXALTATION AND DEBILITY). SIMILARLY JUP IN SAGITTARIUS WILL GIVE 2- 1-1=0 YEARS. NOW WE KNOW THAT MANY PEROPLE LIVE BEYOND THE TOTAL OF THE PERIODS OF ALL 12 SIGNS. THEN WE REPEAT THE NARAYANA DASA AND THE REMAINING PORTION OF THE DASA IS GIVEN BY EACH SIGN. SO, IN THE SECOND CYCLE VIRGO WITH MERCURY GIVES 0 YEARS (12-12=0) AND SAG GIVES A FULL 12 YEARS (12-0=12). THUS YOU WILL SEE THAT NONE OF THE DASA ARE SKIPPED AND ALL 12 SIGNS GIVE ALL OF THEIR 12 SURYAMSA IN 144 YEARS. TO MY KNOWLEDGE BHAGAVAN SRI KRISHNA IS THE ONLY ONE WHO STAYED IN THIS PLANET IN ONE BODY FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF THE NARAYANA DASA I.E. 144 YEARS.
