FOUND St's MrnSthan is Lagna nak/ house in JP

FOUND! Thanks to Alex's memory, in the KCDasa Chapter in JtkPrjt:

"Janma Gate Mandow" (St is referred to as Mandi in many texts). I do

not know what "Gat" exactly means, but the Eng translation by VSS is:

St in lagna's STAR (nakshatra, I presume), unlike that for all other

planets in the verse where sthan/ griha is mentioned, & specifically

translated by VSS as various houses; except for Ra where 9th "rashi"

is mentioned, but VSS still translates it as 9th house, not Sg.

 

Note also, in Svt Chmani/ HoraSara (dont remember) Ve combust or

otherwise v weak in 6 is supposed to be excellent, & the same source

continues to say that an ancient text says that Ve in 6 is an

excellent position!

 

Anyway, to avoid confusing other beginners, I am just providing below

the various MaranSthans of planets as per Shri Rath's new book:

(there is NO printing mistake in his book, as is obvious from the

above, & Visti made a slight error which started all this off in my

mind):

 

The MS in week-day order: 12, 8, 7, 7, 3, 6, 1, & Ra= 9, Ke= none

specified.
