Israel and USA: Thoughts on World Situation

Dear friends,

 

I analyzed Israel's annual Full Moon chart and wrote here on Sept 25 (se

post 9331):

 

"Overall, Israel should be very very careful during October 8-October 31. To

avert undesirable developments to Israel, let us all pray..."

 

I also wrote on my homepage on the same day: "Especially the middle of

October has some very negative possibilities. It will be advisable to take

things easy and not get carried away during this time."

 

Unfortunately, a ranking Israeli minister was killed in an ambush today (Oct

17) and BBC reported Israeli PM Ariel Sharon as saying "A new era has

started, and what was before will never be again".

 

As feared, an unfortunate incident happened in Israel in the middle of

October. As feared, leaders are hastily reacting to it and creating a heated

situation.

 

This is not a good time for Israel. I do not mean to downplay the importance

of a minister's life, but worse things could have happened (and still can

happen) in this bad period (Oct & Nov, especially Oct). This is time for

restraint and not hard-hitting rhetoric or over-reactions.

 

Mars is about to enter his exaltation sign (the 6th from USA's natal Moon!).

Ground attack should start anytime now. US should do quite well in

Afghanistan unlike the erstwhile USSR.

 

In US Senator's office, the latest count of people infected with Anthrax is

34. As per the annual return chart of USA, Rahu dasa will start tomorrow and

Rahu closely afflicts lagna in rasi chart. I am afraid what we have seen so

far in Florida, NYC and DC were only trials and the real attack will come

only after October 18 (perhaps towards the end of Oct and beginning of Nov).

I sincerely hope I am wrong. Our nation has already been devastated with the

goings on and we don't need another mass attack.

 

I renew my call for prayer. Pray to whoever you normally pray - Allah or

Christ or Krishna or Buddha or whoever. Prayers may not always give the

results we want, but they never go waste!

In fact, some websites are reporting US grounds troops have been deployed

today using helicopters from the Pakistan/Afghanistan Border.

Hello Narisimha,

Nice analysis. Wish to learn more about full moon charts.

 

One comment - yes, Mars is in exaltation now, but it won't be until

Sunday Oct 21 that it reaches strength at 2 degrees. Of course, Mars

transit effects occur at the beginning of the transit. It thereby

seems more likely that the various parties may wait to act until

Sunday. Mercury retrograde could slow this down because of

communications problems, making Tuesday (Mars day) when the Moon

crosses Mars, another likely date. I note Mars is in Uttara Ashadha,

indicating starting successful enterprises and "moving into new

environments" with a piercing nature.

I think one should take into account that when

using a completely ascendant-based house system

those places on the so-called "ascendant line"

will have identical charts. (In the case of Israel

it would go through Central Europe, Saudi Arabia

and Somalia.)

 

I studied some ascendant lines of Full Moon's in the

past, it seemed to work at least for WW2 to some

extent (there was a Mars line across GB and France

when Hitler defeated them, across SU the year

Hitler invaded and Jupiter line crossing El-Alamein

and Stalingrad in the year of the allied victories

there.) The planets would acquire Kendradi Bala

in these places which maybe explains the effect.

Another strength which varies according to place for

a given moment is Natonnata Bala (night/day strength).

(For this year the Full Moon lines of Mars

would go through New York, Russia/Middle East

and Indonesia.)

 

I noticed myself that Parasara/Sharma actually

mentions that Rahu and Ketu intensify the effects

of the planets they are conjunct with (in the chapter

on Yoga Karakas).

 

I also think one should pay attention to Chestha Bala

(motional strength) of the planets when studying events

during the year (when they are in motion), according to one

software I have the total malefic influence would

still be stronger now but it would change in about

three days when the Moon becomes benefic. (Bin Laden's

associate already blew himself up with a grenade,

maybe something will happen to himself.) Mars was

using this slightly past peak strength on the day of

the incident, and last time it was strong was

during the Kosovo war in 1999 (and also at ww2).

(The total malefic influence was also stronger then

if one considers that Mercury becomes malefic if

there are strong malefic aspects and no benefic ones.)

 

Exaltation strength seems to me to be maybe a bit

more for a "snapshot" stationary situation like

a birthchart. (It's called stationary strength.)

 

Maybe some food for thought.
