Guest guest
Sarajit: Such a process is really daunting/ impossible for me, as I have literally hundreds of books (mocking at me from various shelves, challenging me to re-read them & understand their innards). However, many years back I started keying in all the books I have, in a file in an organised fashion, as I often bot 2 copies of the same book, not knowing that I already possessed it. The excel file is enclosed, & regularly updated whenever I buy a new book. One of the sheets in the file has the astro books I have, & 1 sheet has the ones I dont & am still looking for. Other sheets of books on other topics of my interest, & 1 on old jazz I am still looking for, please ignore. IF anyone who has read some of these astro books, can make a start by using this fairly comprehensive list (both have & not have) to write their reviews for everyone's benefit, & then uploading to the site for others to write their reviews, update etc, he/ she is welcome to do so. It is virtually impossible for me to singly do this, given the size, & more importantly, I am not qualified to rate many of the books esp in Western astro, as I left reading them long back.
