A suggestion to Partha

Dear Partha,

Please do not consider this as a mail against you. I do not hold

anything against you and i am sure that the list members feel the same.

But i hope you realise that some of the contents of your mail cannot be

described as pleasant. Consider someone newly joining the group and

receiving your reply to Mr. Chakraborty's mail (on D-27) as his/her

first mail. I am sure that you see that mail as an indication of the

general behaviour of this list. He/she might want to

immediately. That wouldn't be nice. Everyone are busy and some aren't

for some time. As a student, i have a lot of studies to do and if

someone sent me a mail i might not even reply till 10 days. This doen't

mean that one is unconcerned. Think of the state of the gurujis on this

group. They must be receiving many such mails (pvt. as well as on the

lists). They also have their daily work to handle. I agree totally with

what Mr. Poddar says about patience delivering a lot in learning. One

has to be patient while one pans the waters of astrology for gold. I am

sure you know this.

A personal suggestion: Sometimes no one replying to your queries or

stements can discourage one. I fully agree with you on that. But to

discourage other threads isn't appropriate either. It is popularly said

"If one has nothing constructive to say the least damage is done by

remaining silent." Reflect on this mail and others. No one is against

you. We feel that the high spirits with which someone might open his/her

inbox to read good mails on astrology might be shattered by mails that

they feel are not very constructive.
