Dear friends,

 

We saw that there were two kinds of lunar new year/month charts - Amanta charts

based on "New Moon" and Suklanta charts based on "Full Moon". Please read

Sanjay's article in the latest "Jyotish News" (a free webzine) and posts on the

same topic here a while ago for more on Full Moon charts. Every month, we cast a

chart when Sun and Moon are in EXACT opposition, at the capital of the nation of

interest and make predictions for the month based on it. Vedic astrology is an

ocean of techniques and cross-checking an event with multiple techniques

increases its probability.

 

I will throw light on just one simple technique from Prasna Marga for

ascertaining matters related to the spirit, body and death in horary and

mundane charts. There are 4 mathematical points defined for charts:

 

Prana sphuta (longitude of spirit/life force) = 5 x Lagna + Gulika.Deha sphuta

(longitude of body) = 8 x Moon + Gulika.Mrityu sphuta (longitude of death) =

Sun + 7 x Gulika.Trisphuta (tri-longitude) = Prana sphuta + Deha sphuta +

Mrityu sphuta.

Planets aspecting (by graha drishti) or conjoining these mathematical points

will have an influence on relevant aspects. For example, prana sphuta in Aries

with Mars in it may show an aggressive spirit. Prana sphuta joined by Saturn

may show frustrated and unhappy spirit and lack of energy. Mars or Rahu in deha

sphuta may show trouble to the body, accidents or wounds. When deha sphuta is

afflicted, malefics influencing mrityu sphuta may give death.

 

Trisphuta (tri-longitude) is the sum of all the three. If we use Trisphuta

instead of Moon to find Vimsottari dasa, it enables the timing of misfortunes

based on these sphutas (longitudes/mathematical points). I will give a few

examples.

Let us use "Trisphuta Vimsottari dasa" for timing with a few monthly Full Moon charts.

 

EXAMPLE 1: USA in September 2001

Pi -

Prana sphuta is fine, but mrityu sphuta is in the 8th house and conjoined by

lord Sun (8th lord). If deha sphuta is weak, then it can mean deaths in the

nation in the month perhaps during the Trisphuta Vimsottari dasa of Sun (mrityu

sphuta lord).

 

Deha sphuta is at 28 deg in Sg. That's afflicted by Mars and nodes! To make

matters worse, it's closely afflicted by Mandi within 26' and that's horrible.

Mandi is the son of Saturn and shows external poisoning and grief/trouble

coming from outside (Gulika shows grief/trouble we inflict on others).

Affliction of deha sphuta (body) by Mandi, Mars and Ketu shows wounds,

poisoning and destruction of body. Due to this weakness, Sun (mrityu sphuta

lord/occupant) gave a tragedy in USA in his dasa. Dasa calculations are shown

below. As Trisphuta is towards the end of Jyeshtha, a little of Mercury dasa

was left at start and dasas start from Mercury (i.e. Trisphuta is used instead

of Moon for dasa calculations). [Caution: This dasa has a specific purpose and

don't overuse it.]

Of course, Mars, Ketu and Mandi in the 12th house resulted in a terorist plot

and losses (12th shows hidden enemies and hidden plots). That certainly is a

devastating factor in this monthly chart. The sphutas I described are an

additional factor playing a finer role.

Prana sphuta in Aries rasi and Aries navamsa shows an aggressive spirit (prana

means spirit or life force). However, Mandi's close affliction of prana sphuta

shows some doubts or external factors creating doubts and weaking the spirit.

As October passes, Afghanistan is likely to lose the aggreessive spirit.

 

Deha sphuta is at 21 deg in Sc and retrograde Saturn has an aspect within 3'.

This creates weakness (Saturn) of body (nation). Mrityu sphuta is at 10 deg in

Ge and Rahu joins it within a few degrees. The malefic afflictions to deha and

mrityu sphutas bring tragedy (Saturn-deha) and horrible and avoidable death

(Rahu-mrityu). Interestingly, war and deaths started in Rahu's Trisphuta dasa.

USA's FBI put out a warning a few days back about impending terrorist attacks in

the "next several days". However, Prana sphuta and deha sphuta do not have

considerable affliction. Mrityu sphuta also has no affliction. There is a minor

chance for some trouble during Oct 19-23 during the Trisphuta Vimsottari dasa of

Mercury aspecting Mrityu sphuta, but overall none of the special points is badly

afflicted. One would be inclined to think that there might not be a terrotist

attack of considerable magnitude during October 2-31.

some frustration (within 17'). Deha sphuta is afflicted by exalted Mars,

showing serious wounds in fighting. Mrityu sphuta is afflicted by debilitated

Sun.

 

Afflictions to all the sphutas suggest some losses again.

 

Though FBI is expecting a terrorist strike in the next few days, a terroritst

attack of a considerable magnitude may not come now. It is likely to come

during November. In particular, Sun's trisphuta dasa is a strong candidate. So

is Mars dasa. Saturn dasa can attack the resolve. Dasa calculations are given

below.

I am concerned about early November (especially Nov1). By God's grace, may

PS: Islamabad (Pakistan) and Kabul (Afghanistan) have the same rasi chart for

the Full Moon. However, their Trisphutas are different and hence Trisphuta

Vimsottari dasas are different. For example, Afghanistan's Rahu dasa brought

war and death on October 7. OTOH, Pakistan's Trisphuta Vimsottari dasa is yet

to start. It will come during October 24-29 and Mars dasa is during October

22-24. By God's grace, the nation of Pakistan will survive the negative

impulses it may be subjected to.

 

PPS: I share the points/views/concerns of Doug and Balaji. A mail I sent on this

is) for world peace and the uplifting of human spirit and human life.
