Guest guest
dear freinds ayanamsa is one of the trickiest issues in astrology. consider the following chart. dhanus lagna, makara:venus, mesha:guru and ketu, karkataka:sani, kanya:moon, tula:rahu, vrishika:sun and mars. this allignment is possible if we apply lahiri ayanamsa now if we apply raman ayanamsa jupiter or guru moves over to vrishabha ravi or sun moves over to dhanus ravi in lagna is more powerful than in 12th. jupiter in 6th will give rajayoga for dhanu lagna natives. but according to lahiri ayanamsa jupiter is in 5th with ketu giving guru-chandala yoga. now my question which ayanamsa to follow. which will give accuarate picture of the true nature of the person. for further analysis place of birth:delhi, time of birth: 8 30 am date of birth : 15th dec 1976 regards partha sarathy
Guest guest
I agree that it is a very tricky question. You have not indicated any way to compare the two possible lives of the native. As far as I know either chart can be correct. But you say that Jupiter has rajayoga in the 6th - but unspiritual person- vaccilation between sensual and spiritual draws criticism to the native. Ketu over 20 degrees away does not have a great effect on Jupiter in either chart. But Ketu in 5th will increase Jupiter's spiritual knowledge in Aries - deeply religious person anyway. Sun in Scorpio 12th also deeply spiritual. Worst effect of mistaken ayanamsha is Vimshottari dasha errors. Easily two years out. Wrong ayanamsha also means all chart rectification has to be mistaken. Testing is the best I believe. There is a very interesting situation next year. Raman gives two new Moons in Pisces, Lahiri gives one. When will new year begin? The ayanamsha I use is further than Raman is from Lahiri and gives one new Moon in Pisces and one in Aires. Regards Gordon
Guest guest
Hello, Ayanamsa seems to be a source of errors and so far there is no consensus. One problem is Lagna getting shifted and another 'atmakaraka' may not be the same graha at all! When lot of importance is given for Atmakaraka it does mess up. ANother is divisional charts which give focus can be inaccurate. I think, we can follow the ayanamsa specified by Our Jyotish Gurujis in this group. warm regards, Balaji S. --- GWBrennan wrote: > Dear Partha > > I agree that it is a very tricky question. Guest guest
dear balaji and gordon vanakkam and hello my question is very simple , which ayanamsa to follow. as gordon said guru in 6th connotes unspiritual person but it is indeed a rajayoga for dhanu lagna. dear balaji please specify the ayanamsa being followed by the respected gurujis. partha sarathy --- balaji srinivasan <sri_balaji wrote: > Hello, > > Ayanamsa seems to be a source of errors and so far > there is no consensus. Guest guest
Hi, The Lahiri ayanamsa provided by JHL is different from the one provided by the Parashara Light software. Using one i got Ra in the 7th for a chart and using JHL i got it in the 6th. I think there is a conflict between the same named ayanamsas too!
