Dear all ,

can some one help me with this....I as an aspiring student of jyotish seek

answers to some (not so imp.)ques.I'll be grateful if you can spare a little

from ur precious time to take a lil into this.....

I have little knowledge of jyotish....please excuse me for any mistakes....

I believe actual character of an individual can be identified by looking at

lagna & characterstics ,placement ,conjuctions & aspects of the lagna

lord...as well as placement ,conjuctions & aspects of sun & the moon which

represent the soul & mind....(only refering to Rasi chart)

SO my ques is how this theory can be actually implemented...for eg.

a person with lagnesh (jupiter)in 5 bhava (Asc. Sagg.)along with ketu..with

mars & mercury being posited..in the lagna..chandra in sixth house(exalted)&

sun in second house...being aspected by saturn(sat. in 8 house)

Please explain the person's character & characterstics based on the above

this comes from a person i know very well ....& its interpretation will help

me a great deal to understand the implementation of the aforesaid.

I hope respected gurus & other learned people will help me understand the

intricacies of this

mystical science.

dear akshay,

Your enthusiasm suggests to me that you are asking the

details for your own chart. but any way i would answer

your question. the native is broad minded and an

inquisitive learner. jupiter aspects lagna suggests

that the native is independent minded. venus in 4th

house aspecting 10th shows a tendency to be lazy. but

the presence of mars and mercury in lagna shows a

temperament which is both mercurial, sensitive as well

as agressive to the drop of a hat.

way.is the native interested in medicine or ayurveda.

you got it right ...those are indeed my details ....

thanx for the explanation...if u could further (i'd really appreciate

that)...here are the details:

DOB -29 January, 1977

TOB -6:10 AM(local)

POB - New Delhi

Also i am really interested in getting to know astrology better(as i said i

have some knowledge from 1 or 2 books i have read)...Can u suggest some good

books ....

I did go thru B.V Raman's book ..but it seemed to be of advanced level to me

.....

Also the question that i had ...to predict the character of a person what

all houses(bhavas) of rasi,navamsa & other divisional charts ,aspects

,placements & cojunctions of planets etc. have to be taken into account?

Please clarify....Once again thanx for your help....
