Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah--------------------------Dear Vikram, Agreed with hte confusion and may I also add a bit to this. This has been quoted from the available translation of jataka Parijatha. In the Brahma Part, the Sun in 4, Venus in 11... something is amiss. My little understanding is that the yoga has three parts called Hari, Hara and Brahma Yoga respectively. Brahma is the Lagna Lord and its strength like placement of planets in kendras to Lagna Lord or specifically of the Sun in 11 and Venus in 10 as Mars is in 4th house from Lagna Lord (Note the Agni planets sun & Mars and the Pitri sthira karaka Sun & Venus involved.. Agni is the creator and Brahma is the father/pitri of this creation) causes Brahma Yoga. Lagna is the first house representing the creation of the person. Hari/Vishnu is the sustainer and the second house is examined for sustenance and rules food (Moon), speech (Mercury) and wealth (Jupiter) etc. Placement of benefic planets in the 8th. 12th and 2nd from the Lord of the second house causes Hari Yoga. Jupiters aspect on the second Lord causes truth speech (a well known dictum) and its placement in the aforementioned houses, especially 2nd from 2nd Lord gives wealth. mercury in 12th from 2nd Lord gives Vac Siddhi while the Moon in the 8th from second Lord (or second house i.e. Moon in ninth house) gives abundant good food and the person is also very finick about what he eats. Hara/Shiva is the dissolver and is the giver of every desire [brahma gives Ayus, Vishnu gives Dhanam and Shiva gives Kalyanam is something to be remembered at all times]. The seventh Lord indicates Hara Yoga. Jupiter (Happiness), Moon (Mental desires) and Mercury (the obsession) associated with the 4th, 9th and 8th houses from the 7th Lord gives Hara Yoga. It maybe remembered that these Yoga formation may not be perfect and if perfect, this will be rare. however, partial formations will also yeild some results. For example a Hari yoga formed with Mercury may give Vac Siddhi, but without jupiter the wealth may not be there. Yoga actually has 3 parts and any one or all can occur: As such Brahma yoga gives eminence in vedic scholarship, Hari Yoga gives truthful speech and helping attitude while Shiva Yoga gives fondness for sex, pleasures, conquest over enemies etc. Best WishesSanjay Rath - <VIKRAM724 (AT) HOTMAIL (DOT) COM> <vedic astrology> Wednesday, September 26, 2001 3:43 PM [vedic astrology] Harihara Brahma Yoga confusion > This is an excerpt from a book by shri B.V.Raman> > Definition: If benefics are in the 8th or 12th from 2nd lord ; or if > Jupiter, the Moon & Mercury are in the 4th,9th & 8th from the 7th > lord; or if the Sun,Vnus & Mars are in the 4th, 10th & 11th from the > lord of lagna, the above Yoga is caused. > > Results: One born in this yoga will be an eminent scholar in Vedas, > truthful, surrounded by all pleasures, a pleasing speaker, fond of > sex pleasures, conqueror of enemies, helpful to others and engaged in > virtuous deeds.> > The confusion I have is say for scorpio lagna Jupiter is 2nd lord and > the placement for of benefic Moon the 9th lord in Gemini fullfils one > of the above stated requirements but there's another Yoga think its > Nakta Yoga where this combination is bad but I noticed that in Bill > Gates chart he has Jup in leo and Moon in pisces 6/8 position it > hasnt affected his wealth health wonder if our learned members can > throw some light on this from their experiences. > > > ------------------------ Sponsor ---------------------~-->> Get your FREE credit report with a FREE CreditCheck> Monitoring Service trial> http://us.click./MDsVHB/bQ8CAA/ySSFAA/.8XolB/TM> ---~->> > Archives: vedic astrology> > Group info: vedic astrology/info.html> > To UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-> > .......
