Namaste friends,

 

There were 85 messages in the last 28 hours. This is very very heavy

and clutters the mailboxes of members who chose to access the group

via mail. If someone doesn't check mail in 3 days, his/her mailbox

will overflow with hundreds of vedic astrology mails this way. That's

not nice.

 

Let me give an analogy. If a small group of people assembles in a

room, they can chat about anything without worrying about wasting the

time of others. But, if a group of 550 people is assembled in a big

hall and 5 or 6 people get on the stage and engage in chit chat, it

is impolite and wastes the time of people.

 

This list has more than 550 members. Posting to the list is

equivalent to getting on the stage and speaking to 550 people. Making

10 different trivial posts is equivalent to getting on the stage,

saying somethnig, leaving, getting on the stage again, saying

something again, leaving, coming back and so on. Some people are

becoming overactive without adding much value.

 

I don't want to start moderating the list. I want people to feel free

to ask trivial questions and to make posts. But I want to request

everyone to exert discretion. Instead of making 5 posts with one line

each, try to consolidate them into one post. Read all the responses

before responding to a post. Before posting anything, think if you

can do anything reasonable to reduce the number of posts.

 

Normally, I will be glad to see traffic here. But too much trivial

traffic causes inconvenience to many. Let us be civil and considerate

and keep this list a useful meeting ground for like-minded people.

Dear Moderator

 

In all the email that we post An Advertising Picture by Is added into it ,

because of which the size of email increses 5-6 Times and people who download

email thru Outlook Express has a though time downloading email .

 

I will be gratefull in case you could ask to Change there Picture ADV into

a TEXT Advertisement .
