Guest guest
Namaskaram, I am not sure whether puzzles can be put up on this list. Please pardon me if this mail is in any form a violation of the list protocol. PUZZLE 1: There is a person i know since he was 12 years old. He is brilliant though not a genius. He can twist and turn his words adroitly and is respected for this strength of speech. The issue is that he is not respected by his teachers. They all seem to concertedly hate him or avoid him. He does irritate many by his questions which (he claims) to be genuine. He grasps a subject at his own pace (which is surprisingly variegated). He can shut his ears for the whole lecture, then hear just 2 lines and ask a question which irritates the profs. Some say that the profs are unable to answer and this frustrates them. Anyway, his questions pertain to the subject in hand, so they aren't irrelevant or foolish. He challenges teachers often, and if they clear them all, he worships them. Else he considers them an insult to the duty of a teacher. The puzzle is, what must be his planetary (general) combinations/positions that result in such an attitude as well as make the teachers dislike him? Clue 1: His ascendant/Lagna is Taurus/Vrishaba and is vargottama Can we discuss the possible positions of his planets? The next clue will arrive in the next mail. regards K.Anand __________ Get your free @.co.uk address at http://mail..co.uk or your free @.ie address at http://mail..ie
Guest guest
Pranaam to all, This is my humble try, (Taurus asc.) 1. Challenges teachers : Jup Rahu conjunction in Sag. 2. This places Ket in 2nd house of speach to give him ability to be manupulative with his speach 3. Good orator: 2nd (speach) and 5th (ability) lord Mer in Virgo 4. Disliked by teacher: 9th lord Sat in asc. Taurus aspected venus and mars in Scorpio making Sat uncomfortable there. 5. With Ven in Scorpio, AL is placed at 4th which may explain that others see him as academically briliant Regards, Dasgupta - Anand K vedic astrology Wednesday, September 26, 2001 9:09 AM [vedic astrology] A Puzzle Namaskaram, I am not sure whether puzzles can be put up on thislist. Guest guest
Here is my attempt. I think he should have mercury and sun an fifth. to indicate the intelligence. sun s aspect on asct will make himconfident and similarly venus should be in virgo and all non combust. the second lord from mercury is important.thus second house from asctand second house from mercury will give speech. the manipulations can come if exalted rahu is in ge. Now 9 th lord saturn can be retro to indicate his irrectic attitude or tendency to judge it diffrently. now saturn being yogkaraka it should hae some connection with me to give exceptional intelligene. May be placed in Ge. Jt being a functional malefic should be better placed in 6 8 for his case. thanks rajesh vedic astrology, Anand K <adithyaputra> wrote: > Namaskaram, > I am not sure whether puzzles can be put up on this > list. Guest guest
Aum Gurave Namah Dear Anand! The brilliance of a native doesn't necessarily show obedience to the teachers. The brilliance can be shown by many combinations such as presence of dhimantah yoga in the Rasi chart such as any association of the lagna/ lord and 3rd/6th lord/ house, placement of sun in the lagna or the 5th or such similar yoga such as parijat yoga. Along with Intelligence, the native is good in sppech, check out the good placement of Mercury and the 2nd house from the Lagna, from Mercury and the Navamsa lagna to verify that. Presence of Rahu/ Mars with the Moon or their aspect might show his belligerent attitude.. For obedience to the Guru see the mutual placement of the Arudha lagna and the Gurupada(Arudha of 9th). If they are in the 6th-8th or 7th-7th or 2nd-12th position they this might show the disobedience of the native from the teachers. I can't say more with the absence of horoscope. I think this would suffice. Guest guest
Some combinations that immediately come to mind: (1) Jup participates in Guru Chandala yoga, but must be strong some other way e.g. Karkatwa (2) Mer, albeit afflicted, must be strong -- perhaps exalted/own house but hemmed between malefics (3) Saturn must be strong (4) Moon could be afflicted but otherwise strong e.g. same as #2; as well it could be posited with a strong but malefic planet (5) Similarly 9th house/lord must be afflicted yet strong at the same time.
