differences between vedic and western astrology why?

Hi group,

Do you know why differences exists in vedic and western astrology.

Which one is better???

Why??

Same stars in different locations(houses) by the same birth data ConFusinG.

 

This is vidhan pandya. I am from INDIA, currently in Delhi.

 

while evaluating birth data of my friend which is:

DOB: 03.12.1980

Time: 04:00 am(Timezone IST ; -5:30 GMT)

latitude : 26.53N

longitude : 75.52E

I have found that natal data calculated from western astrology and vedic

astrology shows a lot of differences.

(1) The ascendent (or lagn) is libra according to vedic but scorpio

according to western astrology.

Why is it so???

also why other differences of planatery positions exists.
