Guest guest
Namaste Listmembers, I am disappointed the 'debate' on stem cell research has been more of a 'public aclimatisation campaign' than an inclusive discussion. Australia has a leading role in this research, and I have been following the 'progress of its inception' for many years. I have fundamental concerns and find little support from the major religions. I read this quote on the list a few weeks ago, "The Personality of Godhead said: Under the supervision of the Supreme Lord and according to the result of his work, the living entity, the soul, is made to enter into the womb of a woman through the particle of male semen to assume a particular type of body". The above belief might logically condone SCR as dealing with 'unspiritualised matter'. The technical procedure however, begs careful appraisal of concepts defining force (Mercury) and form (Venus). This effort may concretise Venus as matter only. So be it. Matriarchal writings have told us of the 'holographic' female. The ovum worshipped as creation within itself!. That this creative process is activated with so little force affirms the complexity of energy and power within the potential. I can't help but feel SCR is 'farming the female' and despite the touted benefits, further reduces 'HER' to unholy. Warm Regards, Ann.
