Guest guest
Dear Satya Namastae, I have a question regarding KP astrology. Changing the birth time by 2 minutes, results in change in say GL in D-10 (We could say this may not make the person as famous as the one born 2 min before ). Read this digest in a previous post here. wrt KP parameters, only the sub-sub lord's of the cusps and planets changed . Since we take into account the nakatshra lord and sub lord in most in KP analysis , how can this be distinguished in KP. ( I know a little of KP and learing by asking questions ). Thanks for any reply, Shriram

Guest guest
Aum Namah Shivaya! Dear Shriram, Namaste Changing the birthtime by 2 minutes can and quite often leads to changes in the cuspal sublords. What I mean is, each sub has a range; While the ascendant sublord remains the same within that range, the other cuspal sublords (lets say 3-4 on the average can change). This is generally the case with twins and astro-twins. If you have ever used KP seriously, and tried to fix or rectify the birthtime using the sublords, you will easily see my point. For the same ascendant sublord, within 5 minutes 6 other cuspal sublords changed in quite a few cases. For instance there was a question a few weeks back on 2 twins, on the list vedicwisdom. While both the girls shared a lot of similiarities, according to the querant, there were big differences in their relationships etc. I had addressed that question on that list, of course with the help of the cuspal sublords of the 5th and 7th. One thing that you will see me doing whenever I use KP is that I always use the same principles consistently. Marriage- 2,7,11. Divorce- 1,6,10, and so on. I may address thousand questions on marriage. Each time the principles and explanations will be the same. My preference for KP stems from this fact. If you read my post on the other list on the twins, you will see that the explanations given are quite similiar to the ones given on this list for another query on marriage and divorce. Please study the Cuspal interlinks in depth if you want to appreciate KP. Remember that the cuspal sublord is of paramount importance irrespective of which houses it signifies. So if a planet is the 12th cuspsublord, signifying 3or 5 houses, the whole focus is on it being the 12th cusp sublord, not what houses it signifies. The cusp decides the quality, nature-malefic or benefic etc, while the significations show how it manifests in different areas of life. With this background, if you play around with the cuspal sublords, how they change for a few minutes inspite of the ascendant sublord remaining same, you will appreciate my point. Of course you need to have a good understanding of how KP addresses various issues first. With a little hard work, you will decide for yourself. As for the subsublord, a few KP astrologers use it. As far as I know, KSK himself doesn't seem to have used it. Anyway I don't use it currently though I have tried to study it. If I can learn the Cuspal interlinks fully in this life, I would be content with it. An intellectually honest KP astrologer can still do 80-90% of his job well with a full knowledge of cuspal interlinks. ****Again linking is not the same as significations. Cuspal links can occur in other ways too. See Mr K. Baskaran's book on the same for an understanding (published by Sagar pub). While it is quite easy to say what will happen if the 9th cusp sublord is linked to a particular house, it requires experience to say what exactly might happen if the 9th cusp sublord is linked to 3 houses simultaneously. For instance 9th cusp sublord linked to 2,4,11 can mean that you acquire immense properties. But the 9th cusp sublord linked to 4,8,11 can mean that your ancestral properties will be seized by others (notice that only one house changed while 4 and 11 remain constant)! The variations are interesting to study. With hardwork, it comes. For that matter astrology is not for anyone not willing to bend his mind. Hope this helps in some way. Good luck. Regards, Satya PS: Though I decided not to answer any queries for sometime, I have tried to address yours. I may not participate actively for sometime. I am in India for some weeks on other reasons. All this is taking quite some time, esp my typing skills being poor. So I may not participate much for the remaining 8 weeks atleast. vedic astrology, shris1 wrote: > Dear Satya Namastae, > I have a question regarding KP astrology. > > Changing the birth time by 2 minutes, results in change > in say GL in D-10 (We could say this may not make the person as > famous as the one born 2 min before ).
