Guest guest
Respected members, Iam a new entry to this Vedic astrology group.I want you to clarify some doubts. 1 Saturn is a planet which signifies delay. If it is placed in 7th house we are telling that the marriage will get delayed. If it is placed in 5th house it is also not a good sign. But if this planet is placed in 10th house or if it aspects that house we are not telling that it will cause delay in getting a job. What is the reason for this? 2. One of my friends is a mechanical engineering graduate. He came across a break in the education in his 12thstd.( ie) he could not clear one paper and one year got wasted. Then he joined engg. and completed B.E in a very successful manner. What will be the reason for this case? How the 4th house gets affected to cause such a break and finally made him do a professional course successfully? his birth details: b.date: 23-10-1979 b.time: 18.40(IST) b.place: Tiruchchirappalli, INDIA, 10n49, 78e41, thanks prasanna Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Messenger http://phonecard./
Guest guest
Dear Prasanna. + 7th house + Saturn in the 7th house can show many things, but refer to the 7th lord from Venus to get more precise results regarding this. If the person has no real interest in marrying, or has a delay in the same, then the 7th from venus should be seen.. The lord of the the 7th from Venus shows the direction and timing. The Navamsa lagna should also be seen as this shows the persons activity in regards to wife, relationships, friends, etc. If debilitated planets are in Navamsa Lagna or the Navamsa Lagna lord is debilitated, the person doesn't enjoy these activities. A too strong Lagna in Rasi or Navamsa, could make one self-sufficient in these activities. + Children + Similarly refer to the 5th from Jupiter, and the Saptamsa Lagna. Keeping in mind that this is also a physical trait/ability, we should keep in mind other factors that decide progeny.. i've written some emails regarding Deha on this list, which are extracts from the teachings of Sanjay Rath.. refer to Jaimini's Upadesa and the Crux of Vedic Astrology, both written by Sanjay Rath. + Carreer + Now as for Job and Carreer, refer to the 10th from Moon as this shows the minds attraction to work/labour/karma. Also the Dasamsa lagna is important. + more + Again the 7th, 5th and 10th from Moon is important, for the various activities, as these show the minds attraction to all these areas of life. The Arudha Padas of the various houses in relation to the Lagnapada is very important(A5 in 12th from AL, shows that the person rejects the children). All in all, there are many factors to consider, which represent various areas of life. A complete understanding is necessary. Education is seen from the 4th house. The 5th shows knowledge. The 9th shows higher education and knowledge. Lazyness is indicated by Saturn, and he has Saturn joined with Mercury in the 9th house in Chathurvimsamsa(D-24) which is the varga used for education. This could no doubt indicate a break, but please tell us when this happened so we can be sure of the chart. The PratyAntar Dasa should have been of Mercury. Also confirm his desire to travel during his education. Best wishes, Visti. --- PRASANNA VENKATESAN <astroprasu wrote: > Respected members, > > Iam a new entry to this Vedic > astrology group.I > want you to clarify some doubts. > 1 Saturn is a planet which signifies > delay. If > it is placed in 7th house we are telling that the > marriage will get delayed. If it is placed in 5th > house > it is also not a good sign. But if this planet is > placed in 10th house or if it aspects that house we > are not telling that it will cause delay in getting > a > job. What is the reason for this? > > 2. Guest guest
Dear Visti, Why would educational break be related Mercury's Pratyantar Dasha and not it's Antardasha, Sookshma Dasha, Prana Dasha? Guest guest
Dear Steve, Namaskar. In Nakshetra Dasa's i don't go further than to Pratyantar Dasa's due to the problem with the Moons degree and calendar, instead i play around with other Dasa's along with Pravesh charts..in the future it would be good to rectify the moons degree using the Nakshetra Dasa's. But your question is relevant, and is because i judge events using the Sun-Moon-Lagna/Pada scheme. i.e. Maha Dasa's from Sun, Antar from Moon and PratyAntar from Lagna. You'll find it works pretty well. See if marriage events coincide with the Pratyantar of a graha related to the trikonas in Navamsa. Getting a Job would be related to the Ghati Lagna. If Sun, Moon & Lagna were joined, expect that the events related to a graha would come in the same Maha-Antar and PratyAntar Dasa. I don't know how to judge further than PratyAntar, without using Pravesh charts. As for the chart; i suspected that either Mercury or Saturn could give the break, as these two give a very dull combination. However Saturn is in Cancer, which is a powerful sign for Saturn, hence i figured that Saturn may have given him some good fortune. Best wishes, Visti. --- "Stephen K. Guest guest
Jai Shri Ram, Visti, Is there any possbility of greating accuracy for Moon's degree and calendar? Since Parashara uses the finer levels (and by implication there are still finer ones)it would be nice if we could raise our observational and computational accuracy. Re: Mercury instead of Saturn. Your logic makes good sense. Thanks, Steve --- Visti Larsen <in_joy_i_scream wrote: > Dear Steve, Namaskar. > In Nakshetra Dasa's i don't go further than to > Pratyantar Dasa's due to the problem with the Moons > degree and calendar, instead i play around with > other > Dasa's along with Pravesh charts..in the future it > would be good to rectify the moons degree using the > Nakshetra Dasa's. > > But your question is relevant, and is because i > judge > events using the Sun-Moon-Lagna/Pada scheme. i.e. > Maha > Dasa's from Sun, Antar from Moon and PratyAntar from > Lagna. > > You'll find it works pretty well. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah Yes Steve, we can. We can rectify the longitude of the Moon, using events. Heres what you can do; 1. Find 3 charts, and rectify them with the utmost acuracy that you can, i.e. down to seconds. 2. Run the Kala Chakra Dasa, and then see how the events fit.. from that rectify the longitude of the moon.. it shouldn't be much of a rectification.. all you need is a way to play with the degree of the moon.. only problem is the question of lunar or solar calendar.. i've had most succes with the solar. I'm looking forward to the new version of Jagannath Hora, as Narasimha will give the option for Nakshatra Dasa's with true Solar Years, and acurate epheremis, to save us some time.. But doing it in hand is wonderfull for acuracy. Also try to calcualate Pravesh charts of Vimshottari Dasa and see how acurate they are. Best wishes, Visti. --- "Stephen K. Guest guest
Dear visti, His educational break occured in apirl'96. At that time he was running Jupiter bukthi in Saturn dasa as per Vimsottari dasa. Jupiter bukthi came to end on june'97.Then in mercury dasa mercury bukthi he joined engg. In what way Jupiter was responsible to give a break in his education? Thanks prasanna *********** > Dear Prasanna. > > + 7th house + > Saturn in the 7th house can show many things, but > refer to the 7th lord from Venus to get more precise > results regarding this. > > If the person has no real interest in marrying, or > has > a delay in the same, then the 7th from venus should > be > seen..
