Dear Narasimha , Satya & others members

I read with great interest yours messages about ruling planets and nakshatra

based interpretations.

I have found a french book of Jean Dethier(a pupil of Pt.K.Neelakantan in

Madras) "L’Astrologie de l’Inde" with an another approach of Krishnamurti

system.

The houses of the chart being calculated with Placidus method , we must

consider the 1st house from lagna to cuspide of 2nd house ; the 2nd house

from cuspide of the 2nd house to cuspide of the 3rd house, and so on.

This technique is based on what he calls "the principle of representation":

rule 1°: a planet always signifies the house where is posited the lord of

his nakshatra and the empty house(s) owned by this lord of nakshatra

rule 2°: a planet signifies the house where it is posited and the EMPTY

house(s) owned by it , if his three nakshatras are EMPTY

In this methode the "rulers" of nakshatras are the ones used for vimshottari

dasa.

You do this for each planet from Sun to Ketu.

Important:Ketu owns Pisces in this methode.

Let's take an example:M.Narasimha Rao, DOB 4/April/1970 in Machilipatnam at

These calculations were made using "Jagannatha Hora Lite". It is a

Mars 2003-06-22 Rahu 2004-06-18 Jupi 2007-01-05 Satu

For SUN, it is in nakshatra of Merc and Merc is in 7th house(rule 1°) and

owns 1Oth which is empty(rule 1°).

One of the nakshatras of Sun is occupied (we can see it in the 3rd colonne

above)and Sun cannot signify any house by itself(rule 2°)so finally Sun

signifies 7th and 10th houses.

MOON in nak of Jupiter signifies 1st house(where is Jupiter- rule 1°),4th

house( empty owned by Jupiter-rule1°),6th and 11th( we see that no planet is

in nakshatra of Moon-rule 2°)so Moon signifies 2nd,4th,6th and 11th houses.

MARS in nak of Sun signifies 7th(rule 1°),8th and 3rd(rule 2°)houses.

Finally we have:

Planet signifies

Sun 7,10

Moon 1,4,5,11

Mars 7,8,3

Mercure 12

Jupiter 6

Venus 12

Saturn 7,9,2,8,5

Rahu 6

Ketu 7,9,2

We have to add the significators of sub which give the final results of the

concerned planet.

Planet signifies sub signifies

Sun 7,10 Ve 12

Moon 1,4,5,11 Ve 12

Mars 7,8,3 Su 7,10

Mercure 12 Su 7,10

Jupiter 6 Ju 6

Venus 12 Ju 6

Saturn 7,9,2,8,5 Ve 12

Rahu 6 Ve 12

Ketu 7,9,2 Mo 1,4,5,11

So for the 1st dasa of Jupiter focus was on the 6th house with results

concerning 6th house;for 2nd dasa on 7,9,2,8,5 houses with results in 12th

house;for 3rd dasa on 12th house with results in 7th and 10th houses.

I will not dwell on interpretations, I just want to know if this technique

is well-known or not as it is not mentioned in this list.

Best wishes to all

Waldemar
