Dear Mr Rao

1. Please ref JUPS 3.3.11 in particular, & a few shloks just prior to it:

Comparing strength of syns to kill, in d-6 & d-11: In order of priority: a)

Associated (mainly cnj) with benefics= weaker, while with malefics=

stronger. b) nature of sign: C>S>D. c) Aspect of benefics reduces strength.

BUT for choosing maraka-signs within trines (eg which among Trishul signs),

order of priority is c, then b - But unclear whether it is c, b, a (as the

Notes a few shloks prior, say Reverse) or a, then c, b, given shlok

3.3.117.

2. In d-6/11, ie Paryaya dasa, etc, Sign owned by Sthirkaraka doesn't kill

that corr relative (shlok 3.3.122). Now, sign occupied by sthir karaka DOES

kill, while that occupied by chara karaka averts death, as per all the

Shool Dasa rules. I know, one says owned, the other says occupied, but is

this all correct?

Regards. And do keep up the great work (&, even if I say so, let things not

affect u. Or maybe let me put it better: may everything affect u better.

Or: may every posting unaffect u - u know what i am referring to)

PS: As u can see, reading VAIP has indeed enabled me to start reading JUPS

again. Hopefully in a few weeks/ months/ years (???), I shall finish

reading all these tomes, & start reading actual charts. I basically do not

want to inflict myself, leave alone the world, with 1/2 baked attempts,

before I thoroughly read, tho' I have painfully realised, that it is

becoming a never-ending process.
