The 8th house indicates the length of marriage life, as does the 2nd from Upapada. Many malefics in the 8th house can kill the spouse, but whether it be by murder(mars+rahu related) or other circumstances must be seen elsewhere. If the lord of the 7th house is in the 2nd from Lagna, the spouse could have something todo with the individuals death.. More must be seen in the chart. You sound like your looking at a chart of a potential spouse, please give the whole chart and not waste our time with petty extracts from her chart.. they are simply not useful. However i'll give some clues; As the affliction of her spouse seems to be connected with Mercury, and her Itha Devata is the Sun, i'd recommend the worship of Rama, to remove the darkness of his afflictions.
