Guest guest
for a chart in which rahu is in third, ketu in ninth, all the grahas are in 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, is this "head-to-tail" or "tail-to-head" kalasarpa? also, is this chart Kala Sarpa or Kala Amrita yoga? Hi Bob, According to my knowledge, Rahu and Ketu travel in the reverse direction, so the counting is done from the 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 12th,...so on. All the planets here are between Ketu to Rahu and not between Rahu and Ketu. Some exceptions for not having Kala-Sarpa yoga are : - No planet should be in the same sign as Rahu or Ketu. - Any planet which is out of the axis of Rahu and Ketu. - The role of Neptune, Uranus, Pluto also play role, but these were not considered previously. Take care, bye.
Guest guest
> > Amar [patwariamar] > Monday, July 16, 2001 10:02 AM Hello All, I am new to this list. I know very little of astrology as such, leave alone various schools of astrology. I guess the one which I know is parAshara school. I have these questions on the exceptions to the Kala-sarpa doSha. I have been told things a bit differently. Can one of you pls clarify? > Rahu and Ketu. If Lagna is outside the Rahu-ketu axis, does the KS Dosha hold? 2. That Shani, if he is malefic to a particular horoscope, will not nullify the KS Dosha even if he lies outside the Rahu-ketu axis. This is what I have heard from an astrologer, though none of the books I read ever mentioned it. How true is this? 3. If some planet lies in the same house as Rahu/Ketu, unless it travels more degrees than Rahu/ketu, the KS Dosha is not nullified. Thanks, Krishna
