Guest guest
Dear Gurus & friends Ref my previous posting re: Str of Rules in Mool Dasa, coalescing the Rules for planets & signs STILL dont help. And if we then go thru the examples again with a toothcomb, apart from the specific questions raised, MORE queries then come wrt discrepancies not cited in the previous posting. For the benefit of all (& to be corrected by learned Gurus), I am providing below a comprehensive set of Rules as per ALL sources that are available to me (archives, VAIP, CoVA & the Jaimini Sutras) from my notes (Re-UNABBREVIATED for this posting), which still would not explain my previous queries in Mool Dasa: First, the general Rules are provided, then those as modified for each spl purpose covered in the above sources: 4 TYPES of classifns, used for different purposes, & are in order of priority ie if 1 fails, then is next used, (ie these 4 & sub-pts within each can't be mixd). Chk specific rules under each dasa, &c as there are some differences & some mixing for spl uses: FIRST: Within this also, they are in order of priority (if 'a' fails to decide, go to 'b', not a maths model): Note: use stronger lord for Aq/ Sc: a) Presence of AK in a sign. (Only for AK-related dasas). b) If neither syn has any planet, go to e. Else, sign having larger number of plnts. c) If equal no of plnts, use status of plnts occupying it/ conjoining (eg any exaltn/ own syn). d) If both occupied by any planet & so far still can't decide: Sign of higher natural strength (Dual>Fxd>Mov), NOT natural strength of planet. This rule irrelevant for comparing 1 vs 7 as both in same type. e) If both unoccupied by any plnt: sign whose lord is AK. f) A sign whose lord is more advanced in longitude from beginning of its sign. (nodes: measr fm end of sign). g) If in above, both same lords, or their lords have same longitude: the sign with its lord in a sign with a different oddity (odd/even) vs sign with its lord in a sign with the same oddity. SECOND: Occupation/ conjunction of certain plnts: i) for phalit dasas: occupn/ asp of its Ld/ AK/ Jp/ Mc, ii) for ayur dasas: of Luminaries. Notes: aspect of all other plnts also imp in various cases. In some dasas, eg Chara, Nryn, Nvm, this str used somewhere as part of FIRST str & not AFTER all of FIRST fails (see below). THIRD: Ld.sign in Char>Sthir>Dwi syn fm AK: used in dasas like LgKdadi graha/rasi, AK LgKdadi graha/rasi FOURTH: Occupation/ aspect/ ownership by NM: used only in longevity dasas Now, the heirarchical order for specific applications: Comparing for Plntry Arudhas: Order is: b, SGD (=b in comparing strength of Planets below, fm SECOND above), c (but only exalted, own not used??), g. Comparg 1/7 in initiating Nryn & other Dasas: As above for Pl.Arudhs, if still fails: i) for non-1/7 comparisons use d, then f, ii) for 1 vs 7, d irrelvt: directly use f. AK based Dasas: a, SGD, placement of lord.sign from AK (kd>pnprs, &c).
