Guest guest
Namaste Narasimha Rao, Nandan Chakravarty and others, The great war started on a solar eclipse day and lunar eclipse took place within 13 days. The two eclipses falling at interval of 13 days was uan uncommon phenomenon discussed by Dhritarastra, Bhishma and others. Why Lord Krishna and Arjun chose a solar eclipse day to start the war while fixing it with Uluk, son of Shakuni was pointed out by Dhrirashtra and bode ill for Duryodhan's victory chances. Prof K Srinivasaraghvan has calculated another date for the war i.e. Friday, 22nd November, 3067 BC, Julian day 601528 Sarad Ritu, Margasirsa month, Shukla Ekadasi day, Krittika nakshatra. Please see if the two dates meet the criteria of test. Astrological Key in Mahabharat- P Lerner is out of print, currently (not available) and hope is that MLBD will bring out reprint soon. At the time of the beginning of kali-yuga, this would have been when the Sun entered into Aquarius, i.o.w. the month of Nov.-Dec.
