I will not classify and sub-classify like you did. But, if it helps

you in understanding, go ahead. It is not a question of external vs

internal, but a question of visible things and invisible things.

Arudha rise in the material world and they are visible.

 

Anyway, for those who were lost in the whole discussion, here is a

quick summary:

 

(1) Influences on the 5th house from lagna show one's *true*

intelligence, abilities and potential. [These lives inside a person

and do not manifest in the world in a material form.]

 

(2) Influences on the 5th from arudha lagna show how people *perceive*

one's intelligence, abilities and potential. [These live inside the

minds of people and do not manifest in the world in a material form.]

 

(3) Influences on the arudha of the 5th house show things that

manifest materially in the world and that are supposed to come out of

one's intelligence, abilities and potential. Examples are awards,

trophies, prizes, victories etc. [These manifest/rise in the world in

a material form. Out of all things we talk about in astrology, these

are the only things that are really there for everyone to see!]

 

(4) Influences of the arudhas of planets (as opposed to planets) on

5th show what one thinks about his own intelligence.
