Guest guest
Respected elders, Could someone tell me the significance of the equal house bhava chart. If this were to be considered as equivalent to rasi chart does one have to take vargas from this by dividing the houses? What if things in rasi and bhava are different? i.e what if two planets form a yoga in the rasi chart but get seperated into other houses in the bhava chart? I happened to read that nullified if the same combination does not exist in both the charts. P.s. In the book "Updesa sutrams of maharishi jaimini" by Shri Sanjay rath., pp 239; 3.1.20; states that the rajayogas are to be studied from the navamsa and drekana charts as well. Again what if there is a raja yoga in the drekanna and not in the rasi , etc., any help / clarification is appreciated. With much respect, Karthik
Guest guest
Hello, I've no idea of reading of Bhava chalit chart. So, I can't say anything for your first question. For your second question, yes it's very important to study divisional charts as well besides studying birth chart. The most important divisional charts are D-9, D-3, D-12 and D-30. Any yogas forming in birth chart should not be afflicted in these divisional charts to give their full results. The extent of affliction in divisional charts will suppress the effects of their results. On the oher hand, if some yoga / planet is afflicted in birth chart (enimical sign / debilitated) but getting strong position in divisional charts (friendly sign / own sign / exalted / mooltrikona sign), it will give extra-ordinary good results. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Karthik, Namaste. - <rastapoppolous <vedic astrology> Monday, June 04, 2001 11:07 PM [vedic astrology] Significance of Bhava chart ? > Respected elders, > > Could someone tell me the significance of the equal house bhava > chart. If this were to be considered as equivalent to rasi chart does > one have to take vargas from this by dividing the houses? It is best not to study the Bhava Cakra for yoga combiantions. It is used onyl for very specific purposes. It makes no sense to construct Vargas based on Bhava Cakra. Better stick to Parasara who advises to construct Vargas on the basis of the Rasi chakra. > What if things in rasi and bhava are different? > > i.e what if two planets form a yoga in the rasi chart but get > seperated into other houses in the bhava chart? I happened to read > that nullified if the same combination does not exist in both the > charts. The above answers this. Bhava cakra is onyl for very specific purposes, hence the areas uf their usage don't overlap and thus no contradictions are caused by using both. > P.s. In the book "Updesa sutrams of maharishi jaimini" by Shri Sanjay > rath., pp 239; 3.1.20; states that the rajayogas are to be studied > from the navamsa and drekana charts as well. Again what if there is a > raja yoga in the drekanna and not in the rasi , etc., This basically means that the Raja Yoga forming planets should be strong in the se and other divisions as well. This hints at the fact that vimsopaka or amsa bala is quite important for judging the strength of a Rajayoga. Of course there may be a case that a Raja Yoga-like combination is formed in one of the divisional charts, but not in Rasi, and this may give excellence in that field of life, but will far not be as strong as those formed in the Rasi. Dear Karthik, I only use the "equal house bhava chart" for a "psychological" interpretation of one's chart and for the diagnostic about events (with house rulers in houses and planets in houses). Examples : Man 1 : Gemini Lagna (5°) ; Moon (25° Taurus), in 12th (Rasi). - In "equal house bhava chart", Moon is in 1th. - => I interpret Moon in 1th (the person has a lot of imagination, has a maternal personnality, is interested by psychology, and others Moon's analogies...) as well as Moon in 12th (rasi). - => I also interpret that the ruler of 2th (Moon) is in 1th ("equal house bhava chart") as well as the ruler of 2th (Moon) is in 12th (rasi). Man 2 : Saturn in 4th (rasi) and in 5th (equal house bhava chart) : - If Saturn is the ruler of 8th, he can have a malefic influence on the 5th... (ruler of 8th in 5th)... as well on the 4th (in rasi) - Saturn affects the 4th AND also the 5th. (There may be no children, or a few, or "saturnian" children...) > What if things in rasi and bhava are different? I use both interpretations. Guest guest
Slightly deviating from the e-mail subject ... I would like to differ about the analysis for Moon in the 1st ... I believe Moon in the 1st would affect thinking .. how a person thinks .. good or bad. And instead of imagination, it would make him more of a dreamer. Saturn usually causes delays and it affecting 5th house would probably cause delay in having children. Please let me know if I am wrong on this .. as I am still reading and learning. Regards. -Sumit.
