Messing around with that would not be advisable! Chronic illnesses can be a big pain, and chore but it could be worse! At least she has remedies and those work! If you try alternative solutions and situation changes for even a few years, please let us know! The least documented facts about astral remedies is just that: How they turned out, in a long run (say 10 years for starters!) Ramdev Yoga from Astha TV, particularly Pranayam, is very effective in giving slow but definite relief in this disease. One additional step along with Pranayam must be taken to avoid becoming long-term Asthma patients is completely give up fried foods, high starch content foods (foods that include Maida, potatoes, refined rice (can consume brown rice in moderation), white breads (Nan, etc.) carbonated drinks like Coke, Limca, etc. and concentrated milk products). All these food items create additional bronchitis and add to the complications of Asthma. Pranayam and slow long walks will force lot of bronchitis from the lungs and help in getting rid of asthma slowly. Never swallow the bronchitis. Always spit it out. This is from personal experience and not from any medical doctor.
