Conlicting queries/birth details/messages from a member

Dear Group,

I would like to bing your kind attention to the message nos. 27763, 27774 &

27790 from the same ID. All these messages have conficting data, in one message

the querrent asks for marriage of his son, in one bout himsel and he is facing

problems since 30 years, and in one of the message, he is asking bout his

career. In that message, as per his birth details he is 81 born!!.

To add icing to the cake, in message no. 27775, he is answering the query of

some other querent. Is the querent astrologer himself??? Is he trying to get a

reading here and then conveying it to the querent. who percieve him as an

astrologer?? If thats the case, then it is defeating the purpose of the group &

the noble astrologers rendering free service here.

If he is not an astrologer then is he misleading other querent???? That is

even a worse scenario, as it denigerates the name of Astrology.

I think something should need to be done to stop this. But what can be done??

May be senior members of this group can show some ways.

A very good observation and timely too.

 

This is what I refered to when I said that pseudo astrologers are

getting answers to the queries from this group, as many opinions as possible and

then passing them othem n to their unsuspecting clients after charging huge fees

from them.

 

It is our duty to expose such people. They are exploiting the

helpfulness of astrologers here. Such parasites have invaded other jyotish

groups too and use many different ids. They also send off-group messages to the

astrologers evoking their sympathies with sorrowfull words.

 

It is a request from me to all astrologers in this group to not to

answers off group queries without ascertaining the authenticity of the queror.

If the queries are answered on this group, it is easier to expose such

pseudo-astrologers-cum-querors.

Dear Ashutoshji,

 

Yes you are very correct. Its our suty to expose such people. You are even

right that many of these try to contact off group and try to evoke sympathies.

Some even go to extent of criticising other members on the group.

 

Asking them fees for off group consultation is a very good, useful & effective

deterent. Thanks to you for showing me the way to tackle this.

Dear Mr. Akhil & Ashutosh,

I fully agree with you about something being done to save the subject of

astrology. I myself started the study of this subject when I encountered a so

called famous and perfect astrologer and something (my sixth sense) told me this

guy was a con who couls charm and cofuse people into believing them. I still am

learning the subject for the last 15+ years and one of the reasons for joining

this group was to be part of a vibrant forum that contributed to the advancement

of this vibrant subject as also may be someday discuss my own chart (Because

like they say a Barber cannot shave his own head)

Let there be a movement, weed out such undesirable characters and there should

be more postings where the learned experienced astrologers are sharing their

experiences in terms of how astrology was used as a remedy to an issue

dear friends

 

one way to find doubtful members is when they often post messages

seeking reading the chart of "a friend" or "a known person" and they

keep on posting queries "what this chart says" etc. hence i

personally decided to answer only those queries which are posted

directly by the querent. an astrologer also shall not forecast

thrid party charts without knowing the "intent" of the querent as

the querent may have vested interests with the native of the chart

on whom he wants reading. secondly whenever these querents approach

me on personal ID, unless they are willing to hire my private paid

services, i request them to write in the groups but i promise them a

free reading and suggestion of remedies if they post the query in

the groups. also if a chart is read already by one astrologer, it

is prudent on the other astrologers not to give a second opinion

unless he differs completely different to what was already predicted

by the first answering astrologer. this way duplication of efforts

can be avoided and also the native does not get confused to read

various readings.
